@@Tapewars I've also noticed a significant lack of botting. The Auction house feels real. There's very little inflation. Would be pretty hard to bot when your both as permadeath.

Just think about it contextually. A mob is a group of people that is about the mass not the individual and mobs in games are groups of enemies that are not specific enough to be named. I am pretty sure that is how they got named as that was the context to which we called them that. A mob in this conext can be a single enemy as it has a new meaning in the game sense but with an origin related to the base word. That is how language evolves.@@imajhin7186

@@nickhewes6860 I think it depends on how limited the resurrections are, ease of use, and penalties. If you have to farm 20,000 silk cloth every time your tank dies or use some kind of resource system like tokens or something it will feel like a similar consequence to a dead tank except tanks won't feel like suckers when they join your incompetent raid group or prone to flight. Being a purist hurt classic wow the first time, maybe being a little flexible isn't such a bad thing.

Many years back there was an Orc Warrior PvPer named Mom who was the absolute terror to the Alliance on my server. In chatting with the player, turned out it was a grandma who got into playing to keep in touch with her grandkids in between visits and playing helped with her hand mobility.

@@barial1 well getting hit by minions each level is not hard, most casters avoid getting hit at all (hunters/locks/mages).

Hunters don’t get hit? 32% of all hunters made are dead. No other class has died so much

Imagine all the terror, pain, the lost marriages and children over the devs trying to make wow fun for 15 years but hardcore classic wow is "better" than dragonflight even though classic has been out for 4 years. The og version is better than so much nightmares from the devs. 🤣🤣🤣

This has always been my struggle with high risk games. I binge them for too long and the exhaustion makes me get a little silly.

imo I reckon it’s got more to do with what the ppl want. Everyone is so desensitised to games where death means nothing it gets boring. Same reason dayz is so popular, and mixed with vanilla nostalgia is a good combo

Eh, I stand by Dragonflight being a solid expansion so far. That said, there's no experience quite like Classic WoW. There's just some unique appeal about it that few, if any, other game has ever been able to recreate.
