Problem with these situations is there is never a chance to proven guilty, even if the girl him and his ex at the time harassed tried to do anything nothing would come of it. That's not how it should work buddy. No one should have to prove their innocence. The burden of proof lies upon the accuser to prove the guilt of the other person, otherwise we end up with exactly this scenario. Even if this is not directly targeted at you; but people should in general try to remember that the principle of considering one's innocence until proven guilty is fundamentally to protect people against wrongs - not the other way around.
