I'd distress with paint and not sanding.. but I have. I notices it just exposes the wood and nocks off the sealer in those exact spots. If that makes sense

I have been looking for the zinsser clear primer since seeing your video because I was curious, but the one that you show in the video says "white" tintable. I guess I'm confused, the only zinsser primer I can find at Lowe's, Walmart etc is white or gray. It's driving me crazy, I even googled clear primer lol my son works at Lowe's in the paint department and I asked him and he said their only zinsser 123 primer is white or gray unless u tint it

That's wild. If you can't find this I am pretty sure shellac is clear and you can get that at home depot. I also know killz has a clear stain blocker which I have used several times and the white in both of the zinnsers and killz. I hope this helps give more options. If you have access to a dicie belle retailer. They have something called boss. I love that stuff it's great too!

Do you not ever use a cleaner on your items, ? I am. 66 , I guess I am old School, I just clean 🧼 everything with products, to get germs off of my items,

I absolutely do. I have shared in MANY VIDEOS me using krud cutter, and dixie belle cleaner. Along with the importance of using hot water to wipe off the chemical prior to starting the projects. Also glass etc. Sorry if you are not familiar with me. You wouldn't know that. This is also why I explain several times in this video that these projects are not crusty so hot water will do the trick. Hope this helps
