@@maynardewm there are plenty of achievements and rewards catered to conpletionists as well as literally buckets of rewards tied to that gameplay style and the harder content is out there. The easy content is there for the players that want it and the difficult is there for those that want it. Why is it a problem that the guys that want to get where they want to be fast are able to do it? Logic like that is probably a core avoidance in the current dev team lmao, logic like that leads to artifact power forevergrinds.

All the doomers hating anything Blizzard is doing, even when they are trying to play it safe but are actually thinking outside the box for these crazy game adjustments in a temporary version of WoW for experimentation. I'd rather they do this in the long run, then straight up try to add new things permanently to the base game that ends up falling flat. I think this is the better method personally. If they do take all the feedback and stuff from these experiments to eventually update/revive the old content, I'm all for it. If it leads to more evergreen changes to deal with these temporary ones, then I'm down all the way.

Specifically I think it would be cool if they eventually made it to where raiding/doing these old xpacs in this way was a normal way to level as well in an evergreen way for the base game. I mean, what better way for people to get into raiding then being able to do it while leveling and on top of it, actually get to experience these old raids the way they were intended in a raid group compared to getting max lvl and just running them solo for farming mogs/mounts.

@@1ViivviiX1 Hell, have one of these extra game modes every month, with transfers afterwards - plunderstorm could easily have 70 in stead of 40 levels so people who enjoy that can get a different, fresh, way to level.

@@SimplyConeh I personally don't want the Remixes and stuff to continue as just seasonal after they've atleast done the xpacs they are going to, as I'd rather they take those experiences and make them long term changes/revivals of the old xpacs. But overall the Plunderstorm being a seasonal thing I'm all for though. Just don't want too many back to back FOMO events (or limited time stuff in general for too long atleast with the Remixes and stuff) as it would become a bit hectic trying to not stress the limited time stuff while also wanting to play Retail (or any other version of WoW currently running too) and be able to not feel I'm gonna get behind on one thing or another. Other than that, what Blizz is doing atm, from all Interviews, press releases, videos on their KZfaq, the level of transparency and actual planning they've never even attempted since WoWs conception, listening to player feedback, taking chances on actually improving the game for the long term, bringing back Chris Metzin and even more great things coming, truly has me excited for the future of WoW and is restoring my faith in Blizz. The way I view it, is if it's not something that you enjoy, then I don't see why someone does it. If people are "so done" with Blizz or think that the game is doomed and so done for, then why sit here and waste their time on it anymore, or try to bring the people down who actually wanna just enjoy the game. Not saying you are, but the doomers in the comments on KZfaq and Whiners in Plunderstorm Queue lobby really have been trying to damper the experience of everyone with their negativity. But oh well, gonna enjoy what's to come, I feel it in my bones. Tangent over. If anyone reads this far into my ramblings, have a great day, you're awesome. If you're already looking at it in the worst light, ofcourse your mind is going to be focusing on the negatives and not having a good time.

I hope this is like the new timewalking. TW dungeons are okay, but this would be far more fun if they cycled monthly for all xpacs. Would make gathering MOGs more enjoyable IMO.

I always felt I missed out not playing MoP, I was on a long break at the time that didn't end until Legion. Even going back and doing Chromie Time there's only so much story you can see, and that almost never involves patch content and never involves raids. I really hope that is the test bed for a Chromie Time rework

I’m so excited for Remix. I feel like OSRS Leagues paved the way for things like this. Goofy, fast paced limited time modes where the main goal is genuinely just to have fun and see how broken you can make your character.

This does look pretty fun. I've earned a lot of the cheevos for MoP but I think this will give me a new opportunity to explore a different class/spec for multiple alts if the lvl'n is as fast as it's being portrayed. I'm pretty sure it doesn't - it's a new mode similarly to plunderstorm, where you kind of enter a different region just for that purpose and the achievements obviously don't exist on regular servers, since their rewards are bronze. Also, it would kind of ruin the point

This looks awesome. Question though, when they announed MoP Remix, I was thinking of leveling up an alt through Pandaria to experience the story. From what I see here, that's not really the way to do it hehe. If I want to experience the story, should I just do Chromie time? I believe you can do the experience the story type of play in Remix, it's just there is many way of playing Remix, some are not story related, so you pick what you want, i will probably play many alts there and do different with each

I think it's the other way around, where if you get them in Remix, you get them in Live. Because these achievements will become Feats of Strength achievements after the event ends in late August.

My biggest worry for this new mode is that it will be over too quickly. It's basically how I've felt about all the new things WoW has done in recent years. I felt WoW Classic progressed too quickly for me, as did Classic BC and Classic WotLK and SoD seasons have been going too fast for me to keep up as well. I don't want WoW Remix to be over before I've completed half of it, but it probably will.

Pretty sure you can transfer the character after the event is done. So you should decide whether you want a new alt or try the superpowered version of your main.

Grinded on the ptr, got to 70, did the achievements for rings and trinkets. Then I blinked out of the shrine of two moons, fell under the earth and was captured in an eternal cycle of instant disconnects whenever I logged in. And I still had a full day to check out the raids 😢 Besides that, the experience was pretty good. Just need to tune some stuff a little bit

This is exactly what I was hoping it wouldn’t be: a complete faceroll where everyone is OP and it’s just “watch the numbers go brrrr”. MoP is my favorite expansion and I was really hoping to get to explore its world once again, but I just knew Blizzard wouldn’t do it right. It’s clear they don’t want to make their content challenging anymore. They don’t want to try to make things balanced or even make things make sense. It’s world of bright lights and shiny objects.

WoD will need a ton of new stuff added to it if that's the case. It had almost 0 end-game content before Tanaan was released.

This looks like it could be the breakthrough for what could get me into WoW again? Briefly at least because there's so many live service games that want my time, it's hard to go between them. Problem with WoW still is there's that FOMO and there's also that whole "You can't get past gear because it's gone forever now". Which is frustrating if you want to be a collector. I do like how accessible things are in this though, the fact you can choose your own path and earn. Certainly the right direction for the game.
