Fabric softener is also a good hack for wigs. Shampoo the hair then add the Fabric softener sit under the dryer and bam silky soft.... Learned that in cosmetology school.

@@natinapowell7990 me too!!!!!!!! I think I can do without unknown chemicals and dyes!!!!! Even reading the label, there are unknown reactions or effects on the hair...🤷🏽‍♀️ I can't even use gain detergent because I'm allergic. I found out long time ago. I'm not saying as in gain only. It's just that I found our it was from the scents and stuff so I make me own detergent. So I knowwwww I'm not using in my hair (any kind) because the scents come from perfume or fragrance

My hair ALWAYS has static and I don't even use towels ring out the hair to get a wet blow out. I usually have to use Saran wrap after but once I use a certain brush the next day it's back🤷

It's possible that your hair needs more moisture. There's a ton of info online about the causes of static and how to stop it using a heat protectant or a leave-in conditioner and a number of other ways to keep your hair moisturized while in a straight style. It's possible to eliminate the static for good. :) edit: Just did a bit of research and many people found that adding a very small drop of conditioner to the hair got rid of the static. Hope this works.

Will this work with any dryer sheet. My mom is VERY allergic to only Gain dryer sheets. They make her cough till her throat bleeds 😭.

Actually, static can be a sign of heat damage and/or dehydrated hair strands. Applying heat without a heat protectant or leave in conditioner frequently can cause the cuticle to lay flat and prevent moisture from getting in.

Hi! Your work is very good except for the “ fishhooks” ! I know you want too keep the heat from the ends yet, fish hooks are tacky! Allow that hair to run the full length of the heat source! You got this 🥰

Someone is going to break out, hair is now more flammable, and it's not created for use in hair. Yes I'm a stylist (22+yrs), lover of hair knowledge (30+), and a common sense user. Sorry her hair is gorgeous but quit running to every quick fix before you have quick damage or flames. Should've put a disclaimer or warning. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️some people smoke (😖) and it even says clothes are more flammable usually on softener/static sheets and fabric softener.
