Lane, you are such a wonderful young man with a stunning voice! Your song in the blind auditions really gave even an older lady like me goosebumps... so heartfelt and mature. I'm very sorry for your loss; but I'm sure you're a great help for your mom and little brother! Your family rightfully is very proud of you. His blind audition had me in tears and his voice is incredible for a 15 year old. His vulnerability shines in his music and it makes him that much more raw and talented. He's going to go places regardless of this shows ending for him or not. He's just got it.

The 2 boys together sound amazing, I can see why they were in a band together! And nerves? Who you kidding? They were battling since they were already in a band together.. THEY DID AMAZING! When Lane was born the universe blessed him with a musical, old, soul. He is way beyond his years in his ability to interpret any genre., His voice transcends to the emotions of his audience. First of all (and I never thought I'd say that): That haircut looks amazing on him. Also: he and Freddie MUST continue together. They sing well, have so much charisma. I loved the battle between the 2. They did well together. But, he handled the "Driver's License" song exceptionally well. They were all good. I'm amazed he's only 15. Edit: I still think his blind audition song suited his voice best. With his story it was very touching.

Amazing Lane. I can relate to you because my father died 10 days before my 10th birthday. Wish I had the talent you do Lane. My father's mother painted me a portrait of my father that hangs above my bed. As I walk around the room his eyes follow me. Keep that belt buckle close & your father will be with you til the end. This young man's voice is so special. He has the perfect amount of country sound without the twang. Smooth as butter and such perfect control. He has a built in auto tuner that sounds natural. I meanI haven't listened to country for decades. It all just bled together into this twangy blur.Now I'd buy his music.
