I remember when the warlocks got the wider selection of pet names. I already had my imp, voidwalker and succubus by the time this patch came around, so they were named Hunkos, Huknos and Hukdoom. It sounds like a law firm.

Warriors did not have Spell Reflection in Vanilla. It was introduced in TBC. The patch notes are referring to NPC abilities.

11:11 slight correction. The blessings didn’t have a 5 min CD, they had a 5 min duration. When they released the increase in duration, I was so damn happy. And when the raid/party wide versions came out, even happier. Warlocks: I have to dedicate an entire bag to my soul shards! Woe is me! Paladins, Priests, Mages, Druids: *laughs in reagent costs*

Seemed to miss the details on the fishing thing.. in the early days it was druid fishers, because they could teleport to a level 60 zone (moonglade) and fish there. A bunch of people were doing this just before beta ended and into the retail game.

Such a great game this was. I only played through wotlk, but it's very interesting to see these early years. I'm strongly considering wow classic given how I immensely support the views of the lead and what he generally expresses. And while an MMO veteran, nothing feels quite as special as those days in Ulduar for me, even though many people hated it. :D

I did WC last night as a NE hunter. Had to get a group together to charge through horde infested tunnels and shake up the whole Barrens before finally getting to WC which was great fun itself. Absolutely Epic!

Maraudon was a great raid. Blizzard should think of a way to revamp it like they did with return to karazhan.

I was very fond of the LFG channel once I found it. I used to find groups very fast, with it friends and in the end a guild. It was and is the only tool, where I could assemble a team whilst leveling on my alts. Why should I sit idle for hours in the city for the right group to appear or a queue to pop.

God, I forgot how excited I was when they finally got to put my massive Dreani on a mechanic-strider and gnome on elephant. They held onto the race restrictions for a long time.

I really hope Blizzard never adds the LFG system that auto pairs teams. It takes away from socializing with others to create your own custom team. I want to play druid as primarily DPS, but also off-hand as a tank AND a healer (which I was really good at years ago).

I really wish Blizzard would detach the hide armour features from transmog and put it back where it belongs: in the Interface menu. Or better yet; turn transmog itself a menu option instead of keeping it an NPC that is annoying to travel to for each piece of gear.

If 1.2 fixed the thing where players didn't get credit for a kill if they were dead, then I guess I must have done Scarlet Monastery before 1.2 dropped. I remember being the last one standing and killing Mograine and the others couldn't roll on the loot

I forgot about 1/2 the bugs that were in the game before this patch came out. It's been a while 😂. Goodness gracious people who remember this, we have been playing WoW for a hot minute. Probably still not going to stop either 😁

I don't remember what patch it was, but I'm like the only Rogue that was devastated to lose Riposte. The new version they brought back is such a joke, but I'm going to use the hell out of it for the time I have it in Classic.

This way wow makers today can see what made the game good, bad, worthy or just grindy, valued or not. Thank you Bellular.

Druids were never considered viable as Feral in raids in Vanilla. Not really even in the later stages. The Feral talent tree at launch was a mess of awful talents.

I really wonder what they’ll do at the end of the new Classic. Either release a TBC server or more Classic content.
