This is the BEST FLOODING DAMAGE BUILD you'll find for skull and bones. Can work on multiple ships and causes incredible damage on enemy ships

Wait a sec... Does Munition mixer only reduce 30% of over time damage, or does it also reduce the damage of the weapons that shoot flooding/fire?

@@vAaron-X yeah that's what it says. It's referring to the DOT. But he's suggesting that it also affects weapon's elemental damage.

@@vAaron-X Yes, but weapons aren't the effect. The effect only happens after fully charged and it's passive.

I personally have demi cannon flooded 3s up front while I'm about to ram them, carronades on both sides and rahmas on the rear but yes this build is a beast

Munition mixer reduces damage by 30%, but because you get 100% longer duration, you end up doing more damage. Having a flooding build without Carronades on the sides to capitalize on the severe damage just seems wrong...

I'm not a big fan of carronades. But I did mention can switch them for the demi cannons based on what's preferred because both of them work very well

Agree about the 'Munitions Mixer'. On a different note: Have you tried this against regular DMC ships? DMC ships armor resistances: Explosion and Piercing (Elite DMC convoy protector armor resistances: Fire, Flooding, Tearing, Piercing and Explosion). DMC Guard Towers resistances: Explosion and Fire. 🤔

I have builds for different enemy times. I take my weak point build for DMC I would take a flood damage build especially a brig to take out dmc ships

Genuine question, how do the Torpedos work up front when chasing someone down? I can imagine that if you go full sail on the Brig you will outspeed your own torpedos.

Normally on the brig the wind is fighting me. Its rather annoying but I only fire when I'm somewhat close so I can get the hit

@@vAaron-X So you can't really do anything after someone gains some distance from you in cutthroat or wagers. I really enjoy torpedos at the back, when someone is chasing me I combine torpedos and leopold 3, they can't avoid both, it's great to flood who's perusing me. But up front I use Carronades for longer range.

@@LordCarmesimXXVII i have a cutthroat cargo build on the channel if it interests you. I'd never use torpedoes for that

@@vAaron-X Rahma's Legacy are amazing in cutthroat, only at the back, of course. I've won some in a row, against multiple people mostly thanks to them. Fast reload, it's hard for your pursuers to avoid them, if they turn to avoid the torpedos, you use the mortar, you will always hit them and get them flooded while going full speed.

I’ve tested torpedoes extensively and you’re loosing about 70% of the dps when only using 2 gun ports. Raham’s legacy has stacking damage per impact so 4 broadside ports does more than double the dps vs aft or stern. Try using them in every slot… I did for fun once and couldn’t believe the damage. Now I prefer them broadside only with dards front and back. That’s the highest dps “mid range” build I’ve found. Furniture is critical. You need torpedo works, torpedo grinder, and torpedo furnace. The other 2 slots are whatever you prefer but I like spiked war horn and scrapper station

So yes, munitions mixer does reduce the damage by 30%. However, the testing my friends and I did indicated that if you combine lead kettle with munitions mixer, lead kettle actually negates the damage reduction from munitions mixer. In testing, one burst from the flooding demi canon 3, with demi Canon works, did 176 dmg per pellet, per burst. When using munitions mixer that went down to 112 per pellet, per burst. Then when we left munitions mixer on and added lead kettle on, the dmg went back up to 176 per pellet, per burst, with an overall duration of roughly 33.5 seconds worth of flooding on your target. I don't know though, perhaps we missed something, @vAaron-X perhaps you can test this yourself and let me know if you can confirm the results we saw.

People do that to earn more money from youtube. Like when you see a fort plunder build and they complete megafort oosten without actually touching the fort. That's called minuplating the audience making the build look better than what it is when in reality it's made for certain things
