Danai is remarkably excellent in writing this episode...wish she would write more of them...superb in both of their acting performances 🎉...please have a second season...can't get enough, yet!😅

I'm beginning to suspect there may be a second season incoming and they're just waiting until the last episode airs to announce it. I think they don't want to spoil our suspense because if they reveal a 2nd season now, it clues us in that our love birds are safe. We know they're safe, but still... not everyone in thebfandom understands how vital Richonne together and as individual characters are important to this franchise. Not only for the show but for the ancillary markets like gaming, merchandise, etc.

This episode is a masterpiece. Danai Gurira's writing and Andrew Lincoln's willingness/ability to take Rick into new, broken places, is exceptional on both counts. He really does her writing justice and she really serves his (and her) character well.

You are right about the drama and chemistry between Rick & Michonne, but I was bothered by a couple of other things. First, it never explained how they got to this abandoned safe house of the CRM from the water and found themselves in the middle floor apartment with walkers in the building. Also it showed the helicopter shooting a rocket into the building before conveniently crashing into it. Did the surveillance system in the building alert the CRM/Jadis that Rick and Michonne were there and they had contacted the helicopter to destroy the building at all cost? I admit, I don't have cable TV to watch this series and rely on reactors cuts to watch this show, so maybe I missed this important connection. All the reactors have focused on Michonne convincing Rick to come home. Something tells me that Jadis won't accept that Rick and Michonne are dead.

The helicopter Richonne were in crashed into the building because of the storm. The low visibility in the rain - it is believable that the pilot did not see the building. The CRM most likely has trackers on their helicopters. The CRM sent a helicopter to dispose of the crashed helicopter to hide evidence of their existence. It is assumed for now the CRM believes all who were on the helicopter died. Jadis will want to make sure because she knows Richonne wanted to escape and they're a formidable team together.
