I just got my Livescope and will be installing this weekend. I switched to lithium for my trolling motor a couple of years ago. I run a 36v Minn Kota and took 150 pounds out of the back of my boat by making the change and have been thoroughly impressed with how it works. Charging time is about one-third what I had with my old set-up. Really excellent content here. Great boat set-up.

@@thomasfishing78 I went with Nexgen and my buddy went with Ionic. Both were around $1k for the battery and then another $200 for a quality 36v charger. I have a 40 ah battery and can fish it hard all day in Okeechobee with no decrease in power. The heavy current in the Chattahoochee River limits me to about 5-6 hours of use. You'll love having an ap on your phone to check battery charge. Crappie in Eufaula in Alabama are still suspended but starting to make the move. I'm going back and watching your videos on Livescope use and set-up. All my components are here so now I have to figure out the installation and how to set up the settings. Are the brakes really worth the cost? I have Talon anchors right now and they are worth every penny, especially on Okeechobee.

What’s the benefit of the transducer mounted on the low pro pole vs having it on the trolling motor? I know it would be easier when on spot lock but what about open water crappie? I can’t make up my mind what route i wanna go.

Look here, I ordered som a of the jigs you use for crappie fishing. Apparently I ordered it from the wrong person... American Crappie Gear and someone called Circle H..... $56.00 and 2 weeks later, they tell me the order is still being produced..... does this sound fishy to you ? No pun intended...
