It vinyl so you can get it wet. Vinyl only get effected by heat. Sometimes you get warping around sliders due the sun. Vinyl cannot swell like hardwood or laminate

We use squeaky too but it won’t do that kind of a job. It’s PH neutral and in order to remove grease and heavy soil you need higher ph. We have have been doing this for 20 years and trained a lot of cleaners…😉

Unfortunately you can not rent these machines. They are truck mounted and complicated and ca cause damage if you don’t know how to run them. It’s probably better if you leave it to a pro in your area

Gate keeping information is not the correct way to educate people about what you do with your business. Instead you could of said it is "x" machine and it requires proper training to not damage the floors if you insist on buying it. You would need a box truck to move it exc. I run a epoxy floor company with the same types of expensive equipment and people i trained. I'm not afraid to tell people the equipment because i know my guys do a good job. Must have some business insecurities or are just rude. Typical C

These are truck mounts for carpet, tiles, floors cleanings! They are very powerful machines and you cant rent these. I would google " vinyl cleaning" in my area and find a company that does that. Google their business name for reviews and go with the one that has the best ones.

No sorry no POG at all! There is no need to use POG on Vinyl. Pressure was 800. We used our own cocktail with higher PH

It’s better to use a vacuum based machine like truck mounts that we use or walk behind machines that can vacuum everything up. Floor machines are designed for stone polishing and floor stripping. Not really deep cleaning

Hi, its a mixture of different products to achieve the best results. Peroxide, citrus based and high alkaline. The machine is truck mounted commercial type, you cannot rent it or really buy it as it is $30k

It’s a hard surface floor cleaning tool. Like a hydroforce sx10, sx12x, $900. Need a truck mount or portable extractor. Steam/hot water same thing.

No worries there. The Vinyl floor cannot swell up. You can basically nuke it and nothing will happen to it.

Yes, just make sure it’s not glued down as some commercial vinyl is. The alkaline cleaners may dissolve the glue. Also keep heat low so the vinyl doesn’t warp. I have seen jobs after other cleaners where they did ruin the vinyl floor.

I residential there is usually no glue involved. It’s usually commercial vinyl tiles that are glued. You can usually see black glue residue in between the tiles

No there was no need! We hardly use our CRBs anymore. With the right product and setting there is no need on surfaces. Carpets with heavy soil is something else…😉

We get this all the time. Installers aren’t cleaners nor restorers. They absolutely have no knowledge of post cleanings. You can clean it anyway you like it. I’m sure it says it’s waterproof too right? You can basically nuke it and nothing will happen to it. The only thing that vinyl is sensitive to is heat. It may wrap around windows where the sun hits it or any heat exposure, also bad installation with not enough room for joint expansion. I had a client with water damage sitting on vinyl floor for two weeks with no issues. Baseboards were all swelling but vinyl was all fine.
