Cesar Bazán un gran boxeador..tube la oportunidad de entrenar con el.. en el deportivo Tepito.. allí conocí a boxeadores muy buenos.. entre ellos Martín el gallito Castillo..

being a legend's sparring mate doesn't automatically makes you a good boxer. in fact, most of the time it only shorten your career. your not there to learn from them (contrary to popular belief) but to become a sacrificial lamb.

@@Madkid73 okay let's say Floyd did lost. so what? it doesn't change anything but MAYWEATHER having a single lost against a top elite level lightweight. Mayweather was still an all time great no matter what.

For sure. Castillo was a very fine fighter at his best. Bazan wasn't too bad either. He was a tough, skilled dude.

I worked the corner for Bazan in this fight. I told him to keep moving and box. The jab was working great, all Bazan needed to do was keep Castillo away for the next two rounds. The cut on Castillo was getting worse and he (Bazan) just needed to keep Castillo at long range. But Bazan being the typical Mexican warrior banged with Castillo and there you have the results.

Castillo would get better as the rounds progressed. The only way to beat him was to knock him out, which was very dangerous and risky, or stay away from him, which was really hard.
