Here's how I play light cruisers in World of Warships Blitz: positioning, moving, aiming, key targets... find out here. Featuring the Mainz, my favourite T8 cruiser.
Here's a recap of the rules in the video:
Rule #1: No Yolo! (unless you want to go back to port early)
Rule #2: Read the map. Identify gaps in enemy positions.
Get ready to flank... or run away!
Rule #3: Know your targets (1- DD 2-CA/CL 3- CV 4- BB)
Rule #4: Focus unsuspecting enemies. Zoom in to look at their guns!
Rule #5: Aim for weakspots. You aim center when firing at CA/DD/CV.
Rest: HE or bow/stern with AP

Great video! I'm going to be watching the whole series. Maybe also do a series on how to play center cap maps with cruisers and maybe some of the other maps that are more difficult. Thanks!

I have seen enemies come back from 4v1s. It requires crazy circumstances though.

My main issue with cruisers is how every single enemy battleship greets with salvos, deleting me wothin 30 seconds

That's it you don't approach battleship and if you have torpedos then not directly and be careful when doing that your shells will do shit to them and you need to approach without making noise so no firing

Hey quick question what is the best HE shell cruiser in the game? People say Zao is the best but when I compared stats Henri it has higher HE damage and has the same fire probability as Zao and Henri can fire at longer range so which cruiser is best HE?

😤 Damn! Why can't I consistently run into terrible players like the ones in the first 3 ships you killed(destroyer, New Mexico & Brooklyn)?? All 3 of them just kept cruising in absolutely straight lines, no maneuvering, no adjustment of speed. They ALLOWED themselves to be ideal targets! If only my Fiji grind would've been ^this easy, I would've completed it MUCH faster, with MUCH less frustration.... 😖 This NEVER happens to me in tier 7+ games in N American server. Even in VERY EARLY am games filled with bots, they are tougher to kill than ^those 3 players were! Bots actually MANEUVER from time to time! Normally, after I fire at a real player's ship more than 2-3 salvos, they make it a priority to start FIRING BACK! 😁

Not unless they're busy with something else...that's the trick - inserting yourself in engagements, attracting as little attention as you can,.... check the dallas guide which contains plenty of examples on how to do well with a crappy cruiser.
