Ok, a new German CV in World of Warships Blitz... keep calm DFA and enjoy Erich Loewenhardt, the CV named after a fighter ace...with no fighters. Apart from that, it's a bloody good and fun ship, if you got the basics of CV and Graf Zeppelin right you'll feel very comfortable with this one. If you don't, well... steep learning curve ahead. But it's worth it - in terms of fun, there's no substitute for a German CV.

I’m more used to the IJN’s playstyle, now jumping to this thing I felt weird but lol doing great with it now. Great video DFA, keep up the good work!

Ah, if you havent played the graf there will be a learning curve, but in the end its quite fun!

Nice assessment. And you are right, my counter to it is to play as if I am neutering a Kaga. This new CV definitly needs to be close. I spent about an hour and a half in Ryujo running into it with my non-comp platoon of competent 60% players that never ended well for red team. We only had one close game where the EL driver understood he needed to be really close and used his guns to effect.

fun ship to play, but also fun to play against. i’ve enjoyed going after LB bombers with my fighters.. changes your game play as an opposing CV.

I agree, I’m all for these innovations in the game - not releasing a broken premium but rather something that forces you to think a bit differently. And is fun. Really fun 😀

I was grinding my konigsberg and i played with this ship we duo'd straight into the destroyers in a choo choo pain train and we just blapped the f out of them. One of the most fun low tier games i ever had.

Haha, plenty of those moments as well… it’s really well placed at T6 that ship, would have been a mess any tier higher, what a yolowagon!

EL is to be played indeed like GZ when against Saipan. So powerfull ship giving so much fun but u need to be skilled to play it the right way (unlike Saipan which can be played even being a total noob). The HC on the EL is a must. I used Van Hipper as comander in GZ and the good news is that i keep him in the EL.

EL is tier 6, Saipan tier 7. They would never meet in a battle.

@@brunomineo5302 the fighters on T6 are super weak and not really a threat, so the Saipan's strongest side is not in play

So, is the Löewënhardt had the same guns like Königsberg? Because Nürnberg had longer range guns with same caliber.
