its comparing apples to oranges. Local farming only can provide so much food for the population near it. For the rest of the entire country with a population of near 340 million people you cant rely on a few local farmers. Mass production of the food processing industry is necessary. Otherwise you'd have millions of hungry people. It's not the best solution but its the cheapest and easiest which is what these big corporations want. Little expenses and big profits.

@@Darth1Marik All that junk food in the video has very little to do with the mass agriculture of grain. The food manufacturing industry is not a natural extension of the agriculture. It's also not to the benefit of the consumer as it's laden with sugar, salt, and sadly lacking flavour. Small local farmers can and should be part of the entire food production industry. I'm glad you showed your Americocentrism by only talking about the population there. Forget that there are 7.9b who also live on this planet.
@Darth1Marik
@Darth1Marik 9 ай бұрын
@@snifferdogxsnifferdogx5977 wow. . . .dude I wasnt JUST talking about the candy, I didn't show any Americocentrism, the original comment didn't mention anything about food production on the global scale. If you want a conversation about that either go somewhere else or maybe don't assume what someone else is talking about and get angry about it. Also one country *CANNOT* produce or provide food for 7.9b you so speak of. The entire planet would have to pool its resources to do that but good luck convincing them to do so. You're probably some hippie who doesn't know how the real world works based on your ignorance.
