Awesome build, looks great ripping through that sand! I would suggest removing the battery and dunking the whole thing in a bath of alcohol and scrub the circuit with a tooth brush to get off all that salt residue if you plan on keeping this long term.

Thank you! Yeah, that sounds like some good advice. I might just swap out the electronics at some point too.

@@ActionRobotPunch After cleaning the circuit board,I'd paint both sides in conformal coating, just to safeguard the electronics for the future.

That's awesome! You could get a few and keep one for the desert, make a green camo one, and have white one for the snow!

That's a great idea! I need to make a ski attachment for the front! And maybe bigger paddles on the back wheel? And Beach, I’m trying to be good with taking up space so no way I’ll get two more 😀 Maybe different wraps for the seasons 😜

@@ActionRobotPunch A ski attachment would be awesome! I'd love to see that!

Wow, what an incredible video! I'm really impressed by how detailed and well-crafted it is. The effort put into it truly shines through. And thank you so much for the shout-out, it means a lot! Keep up the fantastic work, looking forward to more amazing content like this!

Wow, thank you! I’m glad you were able to check out the video. I’m sure I’ll be doing more with this buggy. Thanks again for the inspiration and advice 😁

Go for it! It’s a really fun little buggy.

The only things that jump out are the lack of diamond plate in the side bits, the bars on the front and a roof instead of a roll-cage, but that's picky picky picky. I do thing adding a roof-mounted weapon would make sense, another grenade launcher of course, and you *GOTTA* do Whippy Ariels!

Yeah for sure. It’s not going to be a perfect match but even stock it’s a pretty good start. thanks for watching 👍

Take a air hose. And hold of the way about 12 inches from the board chip and blow it off that way.
@ActionRobotPunch6 ай бұрын
Not sure I want to do that to this circuit board. I just packed it back up and it's working fine. If it gets wet again I might try cleaning it. Thanks for watching.

I love your videos! I would suggest trying to make it look either like an AWE Striker, or a Mega Destroyer Dune Buggy from Mega Force! lol.

Look up 1/10 scale rc crawlers... so they take theirs through mud and creaks and they just get 100% home depot silicone and coat and encase the electronics to water proof them...

Thank you. Great idea. I have dialectric grease from my boat that I could also use as well. Fwiw I’m hoping to never drive this into the ocean again 😀

You should really consider cleaning the board off. You can do it with a toothbrush tap water and soap then just let it dry fully for a few days. If you don't you risk issues down the road. Salt and electronics are a bad mix as it both corrodes and conducts,
@ActionRobotPunch Жыл бұрын
Actually salt is not conductive. It’s pretty inert when not in solution. If it gets wet again, that’s a different story 😁
@Cyril29a Жыл бұрын
@@ActionRobotPunch As you wish. I repair electronic from time to time and what happens it seems is that when components get wet the capacitors release oil which can short other components. That combined with the corrosive nature of salt when simply mixed with air humidity can lead to bad outcomes. But hey it is your property and you can use it as you see fit. Thanks for the free entertainment and for responding to my comment. Have a nice day

I wonder if there is a way to make the Gi Joe Bumblebee Awestriker into a R/C version and still transform?

I’m sure someone could do it with enough time and money 😁

Salt will corrode electronics and batteries use white vinegar to clean it. Looking for a 1:12 RC dunebuggy for Classified.
@ActionRobotPunchАй бұрын
Thanks for the tip! The Tamiya fast attack dune buggy is a great candidate. They may have re-released that? It's expensive to get an original. But maybe a similarly scaled dune buggy. I thought of it myself...and now you have me thinking about it again LOL. Good luck and thanks for watching.

Would I be able to fit classified series figs in there with the seats removed?
@ActionRobotPunch4 ай бұрын
I don’t think so. Maybe if you ripped everything out? But even then they might be too heavy for this smaller vehicle. Thanks for watching.
