WP Forms Not Receiving Email Fix (No SMTP Needed!)

Hi everyone- wanted to share a quick fix that I found so that I could receive WP form entries at my gmail address after I couldn't receive them initially.
In short: simply log into your email that you are supposed to be receiving the emails at, then send an email to the email that you have entered in the "From Email" entry on your WP Forms Settings. This email you send will be rejected since its not a real email, but it also adds the email to some sort of list that allows you to receive mail from it.

was having this issue when trying to send to a gmail account, just had to go into my spam folder and mark the sender email as not spam.

for what it's worth this didn't work for me but i was using a gmail address as the "send to." When i switched to a yahoo address as the "send to" it worked. hope that helps someone. thanks for the video.

Hello my wp forms is only working when someone fills details from desktop. Any clue how to fix it? I can't seem to get leads because of it

cool video. I followed your instructions but I still don't receive the email send from the form. Did I do something wrong or forget something?

It doesn't work every time sadly- i tried on another account and had no luck. Seems to work some of the time but not all.

@@nahidvai5797 Hi Nahid, no, not with this company. No matter what I try the page doesn't work. I found another company app that I want to try to see it that works. I have to few some videos though so I know for certain when I install a new app that not my whole page disappears 🙂
