The baus going to korea really shows how much the other aspects of the game affect a match up not just pure mechanics I mean his literally fighting against the best in terms of mechanics and though the baus' mechanics are actually really good his macro and understanding of how his champion and laning works is where he wins the most wp to him absolutely insane.

Basically the way the game devs create items are like this, and it goes with what Baus was saying about warmogs and chains: Stats are worth gold. 150 health is worth 400 gold. 15 armor is worth 300. 15 AD is worth 350, etc. Theoretical Item: *Goodshield* gives 300 health and 30 armor Lets say it costs 1000G. Ruby crystal being a component (400g) and cloth armor being a component (300g) 700 gold sunk into components. The efficiency comes with how much gold you're spending to get the extra boosted stats and passives. If you pay 1000G for Goodshield and the components are 700g, you are getting an additional 700 gold worth of stats for only 300 gold. It would be a better buy than an item that gives +800 health because you'd rather sink gold into armor stats because you get health naturally from your Sion passive. In fact, pretty much 100% of the time you're better off buying an item that gives health + armor/mr than straight health on just about every champion. Straight health is a noob trap.
