This is a very scale Suzuki Jimny RC model by WPL. Now with some upgrades for improved performance.

This thing is sick. It definitely deserves more power and grip than stock. With a little more love and the heavier wheel weights this thing is a little beast on the trails.

Good day🙌👋 When I first opened this two speed gearbox to change stock plastic gears with metal ones I found that the poor little 😅pinion is made from soft metal. So I kept it stock plastic gears and it works 👍 Save the stock ones just in case 😉🌈

definitely don't need metal gears on the WPL 2 speed gearbox. This aftermarket came with metal gears and ball bearings in the gearbox. It's a lower profile gearbox than the original WPL but doesn't have a good track record.

Not one WPL of mine could take that without destroying its drive train - especially with wheel weights. Good work!

@Del350K4 I will try and grease the gears but think it's still going to be louder than the wpl unit.

Looks good. I upgraded the electronics and installed metal links etc on my C74 and it improved performance. Not as good as my trx4 sport but with the price and scale it is a best bang for the buck! I uploaded a video too.

its a hobbyporter 007 tx/rx. They are still available rebranded tubro racing.

Did you end up having to modify the interior?? I've got all the KM bits ready and hoping it fits happily. Gone V3 I quite like it on the c44

didn't have to trim anything with this gearbox. V3 ESC/RECEIVER is good.

@@RunThatRC Thanks mate. I just love how the v3 has the winch controller and lights and 2 speed all in 1 little package. The only thing that annoys me is no steering end points but meh. It's good for kids too

Look 1/12....a bit of false advertising from wpl?...i dont buy the actual jimney being small argument either lol

well if your going by real size then making this a 1/10 on a normal lets say trx4 chassis. That would make this a rc 10th scale but would not be scale besides other 10th scales. Some rc companies use this scale thing to put there rc in a category. Actual scale is a measurement. If you shrunk a Toyota Land Cruiser and a Suzuki jimny to 1/10th its size the Jimny would be a much smaller truck. But I know some just wanted it to fit a 10th scale chassis even if it would look weird besides a land rover or bronco 10th scale.
