Phew, this one took quite longer to make than expected but I believe it was worth it. There was a very high number of requests waiting for this comparison to be made. If you want to hear the short answer right away here it is: Nucleon is overall better than Avenger. With the latest buff to it Nucleon now starts heating 5seconds after firing. During this 5 seconds it almost has 100% accuracy across the whole 500m range able to deal 20,000 damage per second. When overheated you just let it cool down a bit and do maximum potential damage again (only 5 sec is required for full cooldown of the weapon). Avenger has more DPS, 25,000 at max level and when fully accelerated. However its accuracy is poor beyond 250m (except when firing at titans) even when assigning the sharpshooter pilot skill, it has a long unload and a long reload too which is a big downside when compared to Nucleon. Plus for maximum performance Sharpshooter and Speedshooter skills are a must for Avenger and they both take two extra slots from your assigned pilot, unlike Nucleon which does not have &/need any. Now the good thing here is that Avenger costs almost 3 times cheaper to upgrade than Nucleon. And most of us can agree that Nucleon is not 3 times better than it. Its performance with its high DPS is also impressive enough on Ao Jun especially when fighting against Titans. It indeed is a good weapon for its price and does the job really well. But in comparison to Nucleon without taking the upgrade price factor it lags behind. I would like to get your opinion and feedback on this topic as well.

i think avenger will be my choice for 2 reasons: 1) x2 damage against phisical shields 2) waaay cheaper and easier to obtain

Pixonic updating logic: “every meta weapons or robots in the current game must be nerfed, so as for everyone to pay for the new ones” for example “Nerfing Avenger for Nucleon”, “Nerfing shotguns for Freezing weapons”,......

i already did the test with one shredder and one quarker, both at lvl 1 quarker won by a lot in all ranges from 500 to 100m, quarker destroyed leo 34 seconds earlier than shredder at 100m for example

great to see avenger still stays competitive against nucleon the accelerated state gives it a big boost but I wish they reversed avengers nerfs back to og avenger doing 1600 per bullet and amazing accuracy jajaaj but great video as always

Hey man, everytime new weapons come out I look forward to your comparison video of the similar weapons. One suggestion thou, you could do it with out any pilot skills first and the add the sharpshooter skill to the avenger and see how it does with that since most players run avenger with this skill. Thanks for this video man. Your analysis is spot on. I acknowledge nucleon is better overall however economics cannot be ignored. Most you tubers don’t mention these facts so I appreciate that! Sticking with my maxed avengers mainly for 3 reasons: 1, the vast majority of my Juns targets are well within the 250m mark and 2, I see far more physical shields then energy shields on the battlefield and 3, I never have enough silver and I have too much gear to upgrade.

I think ares will win But when talking about overall playstyle nemesis wins in my opinion Its a lot tougher than ares and have an annoying shield cooldown which is 8 freaking seconds. Its just nemesis is the slowest phanteon robot but its not a problem in my opinion

unfortunately, not everyone gets the luxury to play different setups, two reasons some old combo like death buttons don't work as well and new weapons/bots can only be obtained by luck/giveaways/buying. i still like the game, I just wish war robots don't get any worse from here

I still dislike the fact that energy machine guns work so well even at max distance. Seriously, their accuracy at 400m and beyond should not exeed 70% at any point. Even stranger is that pixonic did the shotgun rework because "they were too good at everything" (which they were. And I am happy that they were reworked.) but then released enwrgy machine guns that are even better at everything!

Unnecessary nerf for the avenger, really dissapoint for the nerf The best weapon for dealing with titan. If they bring the overdrive earlier, this avenger will be the real titan slayer. You can get like half of max ao ming hp in single flight with 2 overdrive

Thes two weapons excell at killing specific targets like robots w/p sheilds and robots w/e sheilds They are balanced and should be used well nonetheless Both are good depending on robot,playstile and targets (Edit) AND RANGE!

Seriously, maxed Nucleon has twice the damage of the maxed Avenger, so equipping 2 Nucleon on Ao Jun was like having 4 Avengers and equipping 4 Nucleon on Behemoth was like having 8 Avengers Not to mention, it has unlimited ammo and perfect accuracy.....man, Avenger really sunk so low :(
