You can easily combine both, even just one weapon can hit the corrossion stack limit which the damage on that corrsion is honestly kind of broken, but their damage without corrosion isn't much.

But in my opinion the dot damage is not broken. Because it takes a whole 30 seconds to actually deal that damage and in the meantime the enemy can use healing if not combined with rust and also can use phase shift mothership healing, grey hp healing etc

In my opinion the dot design should be changed. It dot damage should be increased by 6 times and duration should be decreased from 30 to 5 second Not increasing the overall damage but increasing dps and applies more stacks every 5 seconds instead of waiting 30 seconds and doing nothing

You can definitely feel how much better those weapons are when you don’t have everything Meta and mk3 but are versing players that do. Active Module healing can’t keep up

I posted a verification video about this weapon me too. With DOT damage capped at 30 stacks, and a light DOT weapon taking away 15 stacks of DOT from a medium weapon, putting on 4 DOT machine guns is the most pointless setup, and mixing medium and light DOT weapons is also pointless. The optimal setup is to equip one DOT medium weapon and fill the remaining 1 medium and 2 light slots with RUST weapons. I would like to see you verify the damage again and make a video including this setup.

1 dot weapon have more damage than 1 rust weapon But 2 or 4 rust weapons outperform 4 dot weapon

Hii Aygir, Can you test that DoT and Rust effects are negated by Transcendence and Phase Shift or not. In my experience, whenever I use my Phase Shift or Transcendence, the DoT effect is removed but not rust. This seems to be an intentional bug by Pixonic so that there's no counter to these weapons, but can you pls check it out.

My no.1 bot Ochokochi (only got 1) has 2xDamper/2xtrickster 2xnuke amps 1xrepair amp, kestral and roulette anti-jamming /positive energy/durability extender. (I should have 2x durability extenders but that will have to wait). If you get the amps stacks it’s a killing machine.

Can you do a comparison between ultimate pulsar vs magnetar? I feel like magnetar locks down faster and is deadlier than pulsar.

I was telling others that the dot weapon’s are not OP in fact they are underwhelming but nobody actually listened to me but thankfully you just proved that how weak the dot weapon’s actually are on their own The rust on the other hand is just too ridiculous way too long effect of 15 or 30 seconds I don’t remember exactly but op. Negates 100% of healing and maybe 50 or more % resistance and way too much DPS and DPM. In my opinion they should have a 10 to 12 second of reload to be somewhat balanced Now the dot: Its dot damage should be buffed by 6 times and duration should be decreased from 30 to 5 seconds not increasing overall damage but increasing dps to deal with healing and to be somewhat effective on their own

Your right a medium weapon deal as much dps as a puncher with high accuracy They should nerf the dps and leave the reload as it is The rust effect should be it selling point not its high damage

Even in test server I already always leaned towards the rust weapons. But just like the Talons jaws and claws they will probably get nerfed to garbage.

For quick kill i think rust but player who runs tactics with m.ship should best choose mix.

Yap that would be my point of view, and i'm not talking with the knowledge of there is or there isn't a cap for the stack damage dot, i mean i just seeing from the understanding of what rust and dot how it works, and... that is exactly i came with the same build up, but i never thought about the ohkochi, my thought would be typhoon, then change to leech since it has unique damage transfer skill, one pair of damper and one pair of trickster, then the other range build i want is for the dagoon, four damper and two trickster, luckily someone manage to give me another example of four build medium weapon but not leech, its ohkochi, now i just gonna wait to buy that, that would be cool

Absolutely not it was just like you said in the test servers and it was a complete disaster robots dying everywhere Dot weapon are supposed to work as 1 weapon inside of 4 or 6

They overnerfed those old rusts, I wouldn't run them honestly. Would be better to aim for new rusts or other options that you already have in hand.

I'd say 1 dot weapon is enough as they have 30 bullets inside a clip allowing to put the full 30 dot stacks

Loved your comparison and the comment after. I agree rust weapons are way too OP.But for some reason, I find DoT weapons in the game I faced powerful as well, I couldn't heal up my bot from the DoT effect because it depletes health for 15 seconds, it's way too long. I died within seconds whenever I faced these weapons sets. I have all mk2 level 2/3+ bots. I think the effect duration needs to be nerfed by 50% for both weapons, rust weapons direct damage should get nerfed as well, DoT weapons can use a buff in direct damage.

You probably getting rust effect from a certain source. DOT damage is very easy to heal if not paired with rust.

i run 2 damper and 1 deceiver for ophion, harpy and sirens die to 1 deceiver. 0 reflect damage, 3 of these are enough for even titans. def nerfed soon

The DOT weapons are meant to be used in conjunction with the rust weapons. That's why they have very low damage output. Personally I run 2x Dampers 1x Tamer and 1x Trickster just for the DOT effect. That's all you need.

So they add two weapons. One that does insane damage, reduces resistance, and halts healing while spreading an effect that lasts 15 whole seconds and can stack up to 30 times, allowing endless effect stacks And then you got a weapon that can't even kill...

The wasp has way more dot ? It just seems to hit harder . Not to sure why these new dot weapons suck but its a nice change at least its not dumb op . And then we have rust ughhh... Ones cold and ones hot . I dont think pix is sober most the time lol
