This addon is just genius, it makes an annoyingly time consuming task so fast and (even better) gives such a huge range of options that can be modified quickly as you go. I absolutely love it.

Would be super user friendly if the addon add functionality to draw curves. On top of that, controls of parameters in viewport by holding just like Hops.

I cant disagree, that would be awesome. I think this is limited by it having been created in Geometry nodes so I imagine the creator is very proficient at Geonodes but not at the programming needed to create the viewport changes you mention.

Would love if you could wrap around 2 objects at the same time without merging those into one or make a wrap, on one arm then on the other but connect them inbetween with a rope kinda like being handcuffed, well maybe those features get added in the future.

There’s some really great plugins out there and your tutorials are inspiring….. I just can’t seem to get to grips with blender. I’ve tried for years but always end up going to other programs to get stuff done.

@wingwalker007 That's totally fair. I did the same on my first try of Blender. The thing that turned it around for me is when I stopped trying to "learn" Blender. There is too much it can do and it feels like a headache. Instead I got a project and followed it through in Blender learning as I went. It meant I ended up learning some random stuff (and I picked a project that was way too complex) but having an end goal and then finding specifics to search up was so much more effective for me.

Love your videos! They've been a great motivator for trying to learn Blender and build those digital kit-bashing tools. Would you by any-chance have a video on how to digitally kitbash weapons onto existing miniatures in Blender? I've found so many amazing free-use lasgun variants online, and it would be great to understand how to pose them realistically with existing arm sets or miniatures digitally.

Is there a way to model something custom and replace the existing wraps? Like a custom cable then replace like the rope? That would be sooo cool! Don't worry about it, its easy to happen. I dont think there is a way to use a custom shape, maybe if you went into the geometry nodes themselves. I will have a look as the setup is pretty beastly.

But I don't think it works well with concave shape like I made a hostage rescue scene where hostages are chained up with arms on the back then this addon just didn't work

That's interesting. I hadn't found that. But if there is a gap between the mesh (for example if the arms are overlapping with the body as well) then that would understandably cause issues. If you connected the arms with the back there (remeshing so there was no overlap of the parts) I would have thought it would work.

Is this an addon, or is this an asset? It looks like an asset. As in, it utilizes geonodes only. An addon goes beyond that. It comes with extra functionality, typically written in Python

It's an asset but to be honest I'd say that's too pedantic a difference to matter. I'm not even sure that's a valid definition as an addon just extends or e chances Blenders functionality. I would say this does exactly that.
