Awesome concept. If you ever do a V2, would love to see you make it so that the segments never get misaligned or stuck when racheting them back into into their rigid form. I noticed there was some small adjustment required when the segments were interlocking during the racheting. Would be cool to see an update where they always connect perfectly without any adjustment or effort. I e. where simply racheting with no additional tweaking would bring the segments together perfectly every time. Could even motorize it with a winch, if the movement was truly precise and consistent. A lot of cool possibilities on this awesome concept! 😊

And even then,@@CalmoOmlac, the cable idea was so poorly implemented, that the frame is still badly unstable. It isn't meant to be a 'high end' or serious cycling device, but even just commuting on this would be terrible. 😒

I have a cane that does something similar. It can be folded up, but you have to tie it up when you do (I use an old hair tie) because inside are bungee type cords that are under tension when it's folded. Untie it, and it snaps back into cane shape all on its own, just from the tension.

Really nice idea! ... But the cable is still very accessible so you can cut it easily with any basic tool...😅 Needs a little bit more inprovement. Maybe by replacing the inside bit with stronger lockchain..?
