Funny because my name is Naomi and my favorite color is purple! :) Happened upon your channel the other day and I have to say I'm really inspired. Being Jewish (Reform/Conservative) and also a hair stylist aren't always compatible identities (ie our busiest day is Saturday so I work on Shabbat). Totally goes against our ancestors and religion and often makes me feel guilty and disconnected. On the flip of that, covering my hair full time seems like it would go against my profession but feels like such a nice ode to my culture. I would feel incomplete without both in my life so...perhaps I will find a way to find a balance that works. Loving your videos so much, thank you for sharing and shana tova.

I love your videos, they are very helpful. I am learning to tie scarves and wearing snoods due to hair loss related to illness. I wish you would do a video on the "apron tichels" (I think also called sinar tichels). I have a fake hair bun I wear under a scarf liner for volume, and have watched the videos that the stores that sell them have made, but I just can't seem to get it right. I think you could demonstrate it much better!
