46. Acropolis Rally 1999 was the eighth round of the championship and the fourth on gravel. The base of the rally was the city of Athens. The winners of the rally were the British crew, Richard Burns and Robert Reid in the Subaru Impreza WRC. They overtook Carlos Sainz and Luis Moya in the Toyota Corolla WRC and Tommi Mäkinen and Risto Mannisenmäki in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI.
