Ohh chills. The memories kick in. Nothing was more fun than going to that one monte carlo stage and trying to broke your car by driving it off the track to 200 meter fall

I legit thought i was the only kid who did this. Drove off that cliff over a stone for hours, couple hundred meters in front of the finish line. It's still so vivid after all these years.

Oh yes man, same here! Always took the green white Skoda and Cyprus 🇨🇾 was my go to map. Played that demo more than some full sized games I had back then 😂

OMG SO MANY GOOD OLD TIME. I remember i always use Peugeot 206 Marcus Gronholm and play with my dad, i Miss that memories 😢. BTW i play this game when i only 4 yo, and now i'm 13 yo. Time flies so fast

The game that introduced me the WRC and the awesome damage model back then. Because of the game the Octavia WRC has become my favorite WRC Car even when i trashed the car off cliffs and high speed full frontals 😂

Never played this game but this was a perfect choice for a racing game. Newer racing games don't have that techno vibe that fit so well with the genre

as a fun fact, i own the PRESS KIT version of this game i recall that my dad won it in a competition many years ago it's not much different tho, there's only an extra Compact Disc inside with a lot of press stuff

@@JM69YT Yup ! I'm Level Designer since WRC9. Made Japan (Shinshiro Stage), Portugal (Felguieras Stage + Last section of Arganil), Croatia (all stages), SanRemo, Acropolis (all stages), Estonia (Elva stage), Spain (All Stages), take a look on youtube ! This is such a lot of fun working on it and recently I was thinking about this old PS2 game I was playing all day long when I was a kid, nice memories and funny to think it's also part of my life today

Oh yeah baby, WRC 2. Most difficult WRC game with WRC 4 in my opinion. My favorite rallies were of Kenya, Cyprus and Greece....

@@JM69YT Yeah, I agree with you. Cars like Octavia or Xsara are bigger than 206. Driving with 206 the gameplay is more easier. Timing pressure, you must run like a devil.

Ich hab damals mit Colin Mcrae Rally 04 auf dem PC begonnen. Also würde ich sagen, dass ich zumindest in der richtigen Zeit für Rallyspiele eingestiegen bin. Richard Burns Rally hab ich auch noch irgendwo für die PS2 rumliegen. Sollte ich mal wieder zocken :D
