Its an ammo saving technique. Stun shots take WAY less charge than blaster shots, and are easier to hit with.

actually he constantly hits the ground around them acting more like suppressive fire while hunter finishes then with stun blasts, and considering that Wrecker had just shot a fighter out of the air I imagine he's accurate enough to direct hit at least a few of those shots

Yeah, considering we've seen that Wrecker usually helps Tech out with the ship I assume he's learned a fair bit of republic and CIS technology to the point of knowing the essentials of the weapons.

many different flavors of intelligence. hes a demolitions expert, that requires a lot of advanced knowledge in electronics, chemistry, mechanical engineering and explosives. not to mention, reading all the manuals! wrecker is smarter than he acts, as evidenced by the fact hes still alive. im pretty sure the childish ignorant oaf is either a mask he wears, or how he copes with the death hes seen in war. Tech definetly picks him to help witj shuttle maitnence for a reason, and his brawn aint all of it

That story had some great character moments. Echo taking a leading role, Tech being tough and taking out an enemy hand-to-hand, Wrecker having a clever idea that worked...

If the Empire can train stormtroopers with clone Commandos Imagine Rebellion getting their dropship spec ops straight from the bad batch's drills That should surely live on throughout the civil war and rest assure that the Rebellion was very sharped in covert sabotage across the galaxy if not creating uprisings with Rebellion

Reminds me of whenever I got my hands on Heavy Cannons in F.E.A.R! They were these MASSIVE rifles with twinned barrels, an oversized cartridge, and all the ammo would go into that one magazine. Whenever you found more ammo, it was basically just you "adding ammo to your clip," so to say. Furthermore? I would call it "The Boom Tube" due to its uncanny firerate, INSANE damage output, and how every pull of the trigger was like unloading some kind of psychically-charged explosive at what I was aiming at! In the end, it was like I had a tank cannon in my arms - kinda like what Wrecker had in this very scene! Lucky choom! ❤

i think hunter set his blasters to stun because the stun is like almost instant kill except it only knockouts the troops so i thinking no time they need to move fast thats probably why he set his blasterrs to stun

Everyone joking about Hunter using stun while Wrecker fires the cannon is blind to the fact that Wrecker is very obviously pulling his shots to avoid hitting the clones and mostly just interrupt their ability to pursue and fire at him and Hunter. Media literacy is free folks, pay attention.
