For the last year or so we been playing WreckFest on the PlayStation 4 and I think it's one of the best racing games that has came out in many years. LOVE IT! Now let's do the review on the PlayStation 5 version.

Once again I gotta thank u for live streaming this game during the first week u had your PS5. I had asked u the name of it and altho I was going to buy the upgraded PS5 version, Sony did us PS+ subs a solid with not only the PS4 version but an early PS5 version of it. The game is insanely fun!! I even bought the season 1 pass. I've NEVER bought ANY season pass for ANY game.

I'm needing some new PS5 friends for Wreckfest and the upcoming Battlefield game that are over 18+ of age and use headsets to play the game. Started playing Wreckfest since it came out for PS5 and I'm enjoying it. Already past level 25.

I’ve platinumd this on ps4 unlike every other platinum this game remains on my ps5. Both ps5 and ps4 version so as when they update I can upload my save and carry on

The game is missing features that should’ve been added from the beginning; Time trial, as well as a free roam with the ability to turn the timer off in free roam

Loved this game. Got all trophies. Just wish they would add more modes. Did you guys remember PS2's Driven to Destruction? Man I want modes like that in this game, Red Rover, Gauntlet, Trailer Races, Soccer, Push Off, 1v1 Moth. Geez they were fun to play.

I bought this game for ps4 after watching your video last year , great game played it for a while...but I have a problem, I'm addicted to gta online and can't get into playing anything else much. That's pretty crappy that your progress is lost. Fast loading times are nice but there's something to be said for bathroom or drink refill break lol

@@Sinnables no we are talking about WreckFest once you upgrade from PS4 to the upgraded version of WreckFest for PS5 you lose all progress on the PS5 version.

U still have ur ps4 progress if u go to the 3 dots u CAN switch back to ur ps4 version and be back to ur level 60+ but if u buy the 2 season passes that transfers over i wasnt real far into my ps4 progress ill be past that in my ps5 version with in a few days ps5 version is amazing looking its free w ps plus so if u have a ps5 and plus why wouldn't u add it. Dude the dlc cars n trucks are amazing dude i have a few monster trucks and a bumper car

Thats true i didnt get that deep into ps4 version due to so many games i had to finish up lol i got both season passes but now im using dlc cars in my ps5 playthrough so it makes it more fun playing it again theres so many dlc vehicles that look sick in the 2 passes

This is old but there is an easy option to transfer progress from ps4 to ps5 versions of the game, as long as you’re using the same account.

I had it on ps4 pro an grinding like crazy then got ps5 an like you say lost everything, all my time an hours spent for nothing, wish I never upgraded plus I notice less customisation in settings eh selecting music tracks an no voice chat option, more like a downgrade than an upgrade in my opinion

I noticed the same thing after playing on my new PS5 I had to start all over, and I did Im up to PRO now. But I want to pay the $10.00 to ungrade the Graphics to PS5 verison. But don't know if I will have to start all ove again??? Did you pay the $10 fee ?

Are we not saying anything about the triggers? This is the first driving game I've played where I can feel the changes in the brake as I'm braking on different terrain and when the wheels slip. People who haven't used the adaptive triggers on the controller it is literally a game changer.

Rewatched whole video. Funny enough you actually said "the controls feel the same as the ps4 version, nothing changed there" haha. 06:03. You did say haptic feedback you feel when a car hits you, but I didn't get the trigger talk! No biggie man! I am totally leaving a like and subbing anyway cause the content is good. Nothing negative to say about your video at all, I just haven't found anyone yet who talked about the adaptive triggers (different than haptic feedback), but I was only looking for it because I was wondering if my controller isn't working with the gas anywhere near as good as the brake, but in real life a gas pedal is an easier press than brake, so probably was intentional.

Doom eternal does the same crap. Hey nice you get the ps5 version you lose all your progress. I have to replay the entire story which sucks. I can’t play the master levels now until. beat the main campaign. I wonder why these games can’t carry over saved progress. And wreckfest seems to charge $10 for the upgrade while doom eternals upgrade is free

I can use the PS5 controller for Wreckfest on my PC, but it doesn't appear in the Advanced Controls menu. I can change the settings. Anyone know why. I tried to press C to detect it but it didn't work, probably because the game has already detected it.

The only problem with this game is your car damages way to quick so the only way to really try and win the race is to not smash anyone as your car will damage so quick when u smash into others u end up doing as mucth damage smashing I to others to tour own vehicle so your taken out off the race so fast they could of do so mucth better with this

There’s settings for that. You choose the damage settings. I want maximum damage cuz it’s more fun.

When this video came out that wasn’t an option at the time. Look at the video date. You couldn’t transfer the data at the time. That option came later.
