Weregonnalose is the only person playing this game how the devs clearly meant for it to be played, if you read the game's description. They emphasize breaking the rules, and that there are no rules. They want you to wreck people and do whatever you want. If you wanna just cause mayhem and drive backwards, then more power to you and you add an additional obstacle to the race track for the other racers.
