A Parkway Village woman has been charged after police say she admitted to brazenly stabbing her boyfriend this past Friday. Now his family says they want accountability.

This is my thoughts … Often times in black culture, people will say things like, “you better come and get him/her before I hurt’em… or “You better come & get them before I kill’em… empty threats… or warning shots fired. What they are saying is, I’ve tolerated this long enough so somebody better talk to him or come pick him up. I believe if the mother had perceived the text as a true threat, she most LIKELY would have called the police or somebody …but I’d guarantee, this couple had been fighting on and off for a while (weeks/months/ years perhaps) and His mama dismissed it for just “another” one of their fights. I have never condoned a man fighting a woman or vice versa because there are some crazy women out there too but one thing I have always said to anybody who dates my sons, #1. My sons BETTER NOT put their hands on females unless self defense and #2. IF by chance they ever decide to abuse a young lady, I tell the young ladies they BETTER FIGHT back AND CALL THE POLICE!!!! We canNOT CONTROL other people!!! Sooooo, keep our hands to OURSELF.

I had a family member… JEALOUS of his girlfriend! He would repeatedly fight her fiercely… She was VERY PRETTY! He was terribly jealous of her… She dressed CUTE but mostly modest. He was jealous of her interactions especially with other guys… that he didn’t know!!!! INCLUDING THOSE AROUND HER FAMILY MEMBERS… He was ABSOLUTELY controlling & Jealous! Until ONE DAY, she stabbed him in the kitchen -AFTER- HE HAD HIT HER IN THE HEAD WITH a CANNED good FIRST!!! Police arrived… guess who went to jail???!!! 😡 Her. B/C of the knife… but what about him clocking her upside her head with a tin can FIRST???!!!! He should’ve been arrested TOO!! He STARTED the fight and she ended it! Because she had had enough! For those saying the guy shouldn’t have went back after the first stabbing, my male relative “went back“ also …And later proposed. Why?? B/C HE WAS DEAD WRONG!!! He KNEW he started the FIGHT (s) and HE was abusive. HE WENT BACK TO HER APOLOGIZING AND SAYING HE WOULD GET HELP FOR HIS ANGER & JEALOUSY! LIE DETECTED! He wasn’t ready to let go because he thought he owned or could continue to control her. This young man who died most likely started the incident THAT RESULTED IN the first stabbing… HE SHOULD’VE LEARNED THAT THIS WAS NOT a LADY HE COULD CONTROL… HAVING HIS BABY, didn’t mean HE owned her!!! But THIS time, she seriously hurt/killed him… He wouldn’t “LET” her leave for work and was “hitting her in her face…” She spazzed on him. He should’ve kept his hands to himself.

Sounds like he was abusing or controlling her (wouldn’t let her leave for work???)… I do NOT condone killing someone… BUT there are some women who will NOT tolerate being beaten or controlled. Yes, there are some REALLY crazy people in this world…true indeed, but WHY would this girl just randomly retrieve 2 knives and stab him out the blue??? NOT!!! She had had enough. The text to his mother was to say… “HE’S OUT OF CONTROL… HE’S MESSING WITH ME AGAIN… YOU BETTER COME AND GET YOUR ABUSIVE SON- BEFORE I KILL HIM BECAUSE I’M TIRED OF HIM HITTING ON ME”. And guess what, as HURTFUL as this is for his mother to lose her son, I’ll bet 💴 💰 that she KNEW her son was hitting that girl! And we can say all day long that she should’ve JUST walked away or she should’ve called the police, but none of us were in that house. I believe that young, IMMATURE girl had had enough and fight back.
