Whether in this life or the next, I am eagerly looking forward to meeting Jesus. I have been looking forward to being with Him all of my life, ever since I can remember. Even as a four year old, I longed to be with Jesus. That's when I started attending a Protestant Sunday School and learning about Him. I have always hoped that He would come in my lifetime, but it is okay if I have to wait until I cross to the other side. I have learned to accept the will of God.

That is why “sola scriptura” is dangerous. We need Apostolic Tradition, which actually gave us the New Testament, and Magisterium, which gives us the right interpretation of the Scriptures. So, yes, Scripture IS AUTHORITATIVE….BUT NOT ALONE.

What things that the apostles taught are not found in Scripture? The truth is that in Scripture we find things that come implicitly and others explicitly. Next we go on to prove some things that come explicitly in Tradition and that according to Protestantism were not taught in Scripture by the apostles, however, here we prove that the apostles did teach them. -PRAYER FOR THE DECEASED. 5th century Saint John Chrysostom in his work Homilies on the Philippians 3:9-10. "Let us cry for them, let us help them to the best of our ability, let us think of some help for them, no matter how small, but let us help them in some way. But how and in what way? As we could see, there are many elements that, although some of them do not appear explicitly in Scripture, were taught by the apostles according to the Sacred Tradition of the Fathers of the Church.
