Wrestle Jitsu Single Leg to Backtake
This is one of my favorite combinations 💪🏽
There’s a moment when you first get a good takedown attempt and the person starts to defend but will leave an opening to take the back ….. we will capitalize on this opening 🥷
⚪️In your stance get a read for your distance by tapping your partners shoulder . I would recommend acouple fakes before you attempt your single leg . Shuffle step and pick up the persons lead leg around the knee and wrap your arms completely around their knee 💪🏽
🔵As soon as you feel the person start to resist the single leg (after you have picked up the leg) switch to the rear body lock . With the arm closest to their back wrap completely around their waist and climb up into a rear body lock. Stand behind them off to one side not directly behind them
🟣Keep the rear body lock tight , take a step in front of them and use the step to shuck / bump them until they place their hands on the mat
🟤After they place their hands on the mat , start setting up your seatbelt and drive the knee inside the same side as your choking arm (arm over the shoulder) . Take the back 🥷
⚫️Seatbelt in , hooks in , we are ready to submit . Trap their arm with an inside grip and push it down . Wrap your choking arm all the way around their neck until your elbow is aligned to their chin . Grab your support arms bicep and go for the sub !
