Becky protecting Kairi is a good example as to why she's better than Charlotte. Charlotte struggles when something unexpected happens and can't go off script, Becky can adapt and looked after Kairi when she got hurt, while Charlotte just kept working on her, which could have hurt her more.

4 minute match between Lita and Trish shortened due to injury is still twice as long of any of the Queen's Crown tournament matches so far.

When Jericho pushed the ref he did so after quickly covering Neville for a 3 count to end the match asap, but the ref didn't get what was happening and didn't count the fall. I always saw Jericho pushing the raf as half frustration about that and half him not seeing any other way of finishing the match in a save way.

Lita really had heart when she wrestled. I mean she could grapple, brawl, be a manager, hero, heel, antagonist...she even wrestled against some of the male superstars and won some of those matches. She thrived in the tag team division. She fought with weapons and did some hardcore type matches. I hate that WWE got involved in so much of her off screen affairs and painted her in a certain way towards the end of her career. I was just a kid when I saw Lita take that hard tumble on her head and neck and I lost it. I was so scared for her.. Trish and Lita really pioneered a lot of the more serious women' s wrestling we see today.

Lita wrecking her knee IMMEDIATELY after Eugene in the prior match was a mind-boggling coincidence that got NYR 05 off to a very rocky start...

I wonder how The Boogeyman felt about that last minute change tho 🤔. His career may have turned out waaay different *IF* that last minute change didn't happen 🤷‍♂️

Damn. Even back then I thought Boogeyman was just in that match for fodder. Never expected that he was originally supposed to win the thing. Love Boogey, but they definitely made the right call with Punk.

The first ever Elimination Chamber match had multiple problems as well. Triple H's throat was injured from a botched Five Star Frog Splash from RVD, and Kane's pod opened too early.

Still remember that Eddie Guerrero moment like it was yesterday. Legitimately thought he was about to pass away at that match. I will forever miss you Eddie. Viva La Raza!😔

It is amazing to see how things can change in the blink of an eye. Makes you wonder how many more matches we don't know this happens. I give the backstage and wrestlers absolute credit for thinking on the fly due to circumstances. Jericho and Neville is a perfect example. Fine examples of kayfabe being put aside....

The best part about Jericho doing what he did, is if you listen closely you can audibly hear him yell "HE'S HURT!". Man's a 100% absolute professional.

Also Sting VS Seth Rollins at night of champions. Sting was supposed to win, but after the buckle bomb injured him, Vince told the ref to tell them to improvise a Rollins win

I get that the Mark Henry thing was awkward, but I feel like WWE could have just flexed the power of the "rules" and said that Henry wasn't allowed to participate until his pod was just unlocked. If someone in the Royal Rumble just comes to the ring early, can they be eliminated?

Booker T vs Perry Saturn at Superbrawl VIII in 1998. I know it's a WCW match but since WWE owns WCW, I want to include it. It was originally to be Rick Martel going over Booker to retain the Television title and then face Saturn. But Martel injured his leg, forcing Booker to pin Martel and face Saturn. Booker and Saturn had to call spots on the fly that night.

I will never not be angry how eliminated participants and even non-participants are allowed to eliminate someone in the Royal Rumble.

I remember that time Eddie just slumped over in the ring on Smackdown, I was only 7 yrs old then and it was one the the scariest moment in wwe history. I legit thought that he was dying at the time, but seeing JBL do what he did put my mind at ease knowing that the match was over and Eddie could get help.

From what I've heard about the Rated RKO vs DX match,DX was actually supposed to win the Tag Team Titles in that match. The plan going forward after this was to have a Triple H and John Cena rematch at WM 23 for the WWE title. But plans had to be changed,this was why you had HBK and Cena as Tag Team Titles and why the WM 23 match for the WWE title was Cena vs HBK.

I was at that elimination chamber pay-per-view yes it was a very awkward match to watch everyone look confused the crowd was definitely confused at what was going on you could see Ziegler telling everybody what to do it was weird

When Luke Harper was eliminated at the royal rumble he saved someone from serious injury. That was on the spot too.

Also,Lita was supposed to regain the WWE Women's Title at WM 21,but her knee injury hadn't been healed yet.

In the match where Kevin Nash tore his quad, you can clearly see Bubba (who was on the other team) go and ask Kevin if he was okay, and actually pulled him away from the chaos in the ring.

Cousin loved Jericho's in ring persona, and not going to lie gets a double thumbs up from me as well for his evolving persona but also his ability to put his co-workers safety above all else.

On Number 5 I love that episode of Smackdown and credit it for getting me back into wrestling as a teenager. The Benoit/HHH match that ends that episode is fucking awesome. I had no idea the New Age Outlaws were supposed to lose. Makes a lot of sense that the Radicals v D-Generation X should have been tied 1-1 going into the final match, I just assumed the HHH and co were supposed to get a clean sweep but that they would be impressed enough to sign the Radicals anyway. I always wonder why the guys in the IC Elimination Chamber match didn't go with the obvious solution: Triple-team Mark Henry on the outside of the ring (where he can't be pinned) and have him lay there until his planned spot comes up. Why didn't they just do that?

The Miz call was really good and fit perfectly.

One that you left ou was the Survivor series match where Shane McMahon got speared out of the air. He was supposed to get speared and be "out" of the match until the end where he'd win it. Also I loved Randy Orton going to Shane's kids (Even though Randy was on Raw) and telling them their Dad was ok.

Sometimes finishes get changed by accident. Not long after he came to WWE A.J. Styles one the U.S. Championship. I can't remember if it was his second or third defense, he was supposed to successfully defend the title but wound up losing the match and the belt when he forgot to kick out of what was supposed to be a near fall.

8:20 I was there for that show when I was a kid (i was 9). I remember I was crying because I knew Triple H was hurt - he was limping really bad, as you can imagine. Then he had to have his knee surgery because of that injury. It was crazy

Punk was always gonna end up with the title. Nancy’s sister said Benoit was originally going to be the eventual winner. He was then to go on as champion, for a few months. Before, retiring to Punk.

These kind of matches just add to the mystique of wrestling, and goes to show just how things in the wrestling business work. There is parody on top of parody, and you have to be willing to adapt or find out the hard way that you are just another interchangeable piece of the puzzle. matches like these(along with stortlines) can make or break a career.

I refuse to believe Taker's streak being broken was designed and it wasn't changed on the fly when Taker was visibly concussed... All this design to break the streak is a kayfabe cover

Becky & Charlotte vs. Asuka & Kairi TLC match. Kairi gets concussed, Charlotte fails to see it and powerbombed Kairi through a table (despite her obviously trying to call off the spot), Becky clued in after and rolled Kairi under the ring so she could stay safe. Asuka carried on alone and won, likely the planned outcome but good on Becky, shame on Charlotte. Beth Phoenix vs. Candice Michelle 2 out of 3 falls. Beth had already won the 1st fall, Candice was on the top rope when Beth shook the rope so she'd crotch herself. However, Candice lost her footing and fell awkwardly into the ring on her head and shoulder and was knocked out (concussion and broken collarbone) The ref gave Beth the instructions to pull her out and cover her immediately. May have been the intended result but would have gone longer. I'm sure Miz and Cena vs. Nexus was botched. Miz and Cena won the tag titles, but Wade Barrett got on the mic and said they were cashing their rematch "right now" in the rematch, Nexus regained the titles. Hope it was a botch, it wouldn't make any sense otherwise.

I know Lance Storm changed a finish in ROH to him doing the job. It may have been with Bryan Danielson, but I am not sure.

Crazy to think Vince called for Punk to win. Imagine where we would be right now had he not done that, likely playing a huge role in the Punk we know now.
