WWE should have waited a week before doing their trial run with the WCW reboot. They were in Atlanta the week after they were in Tacoma, and Atlanta was WCW's backyard. It's certain that the match between Buff Bagwell and Booker T would have been better received in Atlanta.

A lot of these would’ve worked if WWE had seen them through. It’s a slap in the face to fans when they drop them and treat it like it never happened.

The invasion angle could've been the greatest storyline in wrestling history if they'd had the patience to wait out the time of the old WCW contracts... By 2002, Triple H and Benoit would have returned from injury to join up alongside Austin, The Rock, Angle, Undertaker, Jericho and others to face off with Hogan, Hall, Nash, Sting, Flair and Goldberg... We can only imagine! 🤩

I still stand by RAW Underground to this day. It was actually creative and unique. It wasn't just the lazy way out, i.e. more wrestling.

For just a note, some of this concepts worked fine in another promotions. Maybe it's just the case of the always, irritating, persistant and useless resistance of Vince McMahon to adopt new ideas to his product. A new idea needs time and development (with a competent group of people working behind it) to have success. We see this in all type of sports, media and shows.

I feel sorry for Buff Bagwell, as re watching that match its not that bad. More controversially, would Buff have struggled as much as he did if he had been given some role in WWE?

The turn buckle camera was a good idea. The raw underground was a good idea but if it was handled better I bet it still be on today. Raw dark was a good idea but needed to be presented better

I like that the Shield wore masks, but I didn't care for their design. The Skull look strikes me as an unwanted relic of the early 00s Xtreme Edjy Boi aesthetic. The 2018 masks were an improvement, they had strong Noob Saibot vibes.

The Shield turning babyface was such a complete and utter disappointment and fail. They were never seen the as the same unstobbable force to be reckoned with again.

The wcw reboot would have worked if it had been done on a different night. And not during a raw taping.

GTV was awesome, honestly that's one WWE gimmick that could still be around today.

If I remember the shield took off the masks because they were still really early in their run all things considered and Vince wanted people to see their faces since he saw all 3 as future main eventers

The return of the shields masks look more like Noob's mask from Mortal Kombat I guess the shield joined the Brotherhood of Shadows for a little bit but quickly decided to leave because they don't wanna die in a badass gruesome way so it was a big hell nah but at least they get to keep the mask tho hahaha

Pretty much all of these failed due to lack of follow through and Vinnie Mac's preference because it didn't draw money instantly. The lack of continuity and the way they drop things all the time is one major reason why storylines can never be taken seriously. McMahon's opinion that fans don't remember anything is a bunch of BS. We always remember and get disappointed constantly.

I don't remember the WCW reboot, I stopped watching wrestling in 2005 and started watching again last year. These current wrestlers need better entrance music and personas

In Mexico, the "junior division" or "minis" are a huge attraction. Most of them are legit great wrestlers. It's such a shame it didn't work in the U.S.A, but that was expected. It would never work.

The turnbuckle cameras would've been an ok idea if they didn't use webcams from 1997. That aside, WCW had turnbuckle cams, they just relied on actual cameramen to stand on an apron-adjacent platform.

It’s insane that Vince the man who revolutionized the wrestling business and saved his fathers company through racial and insane new ideas like acquiring company’s and ending the regional thing and intertwining the company with major entertainment and stars and created 2 separate time periods of wwe supremacy back to back is one of the biggest reasons he’s losing so much. He doesn’t understand somehow the need to change and actually shake things up and push the right people in a new generation where we see almost everything his wrestlers do and the very nature of Kayfabe is shattered a generation that is so used to violence that it doesn’t phase most of us.
