The only time I can remember them actually being in the ring at the same time is the 2016 Royal Rumble. AJ’s WWE Debut. Ryback was released less than a quarter of year later so they can’t have had that much time in the ring together.

Steve Austin himself says that for the most part prior to shaving his head and creating the character, he was not “Stone Cold”. There was something in him that birthed that character, but he had to wake it up. CM Punk brought that back in a way that made people question whether they were seeing was scripted or not, even though it was. But just like Stone Cold, he relished saying what he had to say and there was definitely some truth behind it.
