I like that, but it would also make more sense for Green to ultimately fail when she does get to actually cash in, and we don't need both briefcase winners to waste their cash in. With Stratton, it's basically a guarantee that she's getting a title, when she's finally able to cash in, but not knowing when that will be, is part of the fun.

I was at a House Show in 2015 while Sheamus was carrying the MItB briefcase and the same thing happened. He attempted to cash in, and got chased off or something. I feel like it’s a good way to pop a house show crowd.

Stephanie Vaquer said in an interview back when she was a young wrestler WWE flew her from Mexico to her home country of Chile for a WWE tryout and let her stay longer to visit her family before heading back to Mexico. Even though she didn't get selected back then, she said she never forgot about WWE's kindness. It's not hard to see why she signed with WWE over AEW when you consider they way each company treated her.

I think most of Cena's matches next year are going to be against others who are in the latter stages of their career, like Styles and Orton. I suspect you might be right about WWE being unwilling to bring Cardona back though.

Releases are unfortunately part of the pit falls of being in the business. There are other promotions now so it's not quite as bad as there are options and opportunities available, it's never nice anyone losing their job.

I think Damon Kemp will be more appreciated if he goes to Japan. I don't know that he'd do well in AEW, and since TNA are working closely with NXT, I don't suspect that will be an option anytime soon.

Gerweck reported the new multi-year deal for Natalya on June 29th. This reminds me of when Gerweck reported Sting signing with TNA for a million dollars a year for five years back in 2005. At the time, all the “big dirtsheets” called it made up, and no one they spoke to could corroborate the news. However, two weeks after the report, Sting’s black trenchcoat and bat closed the 2005 Turning Point PPV. Sting would then debut for TNA at Final Resolution 2006.

Honestly. bring in a bunch of Cena's old rivals for a retirement tour. Orton, Rey, Cardona, maybe RVD if he's not under an AEW contract, Punk, and yes, Brock Lesnar. Just, a whos who of Cena's greatest hits one after the other at major PPVs through 2025 before one final match at a big PPV, maybe Summerslam where he puts over someone who's remaining in the company for the long haul. Priest, Balor, Gunther, Rollins any of them would do fine.

As long as Steph is performing the way we know she can... she will be great., BUT if her MIC skills /English is poor.... her career could replicate Asuka... which is not a bad thing., Steph burned some bridges but she'll always be able to go to AEW but that offer will not be the same, if she does poorly in WWE
