I actually really like Christian as Swerve's first challenger. They have some history, I've missed Christian on TV, and it lets you save Hangman for later on.

SERIOUSLY thought Kenny was retiring, and I was ready to turn the waterworks on full. Instead they tease Omega/Okada in AEW and I'm SO HYPE.

Willow and Skye Blue had insanely great hardcore match. Knowing the Skye took a Power Bomb on to that barbed wire table with with lots of skin exposed took a lot of guts.... and cheeks.

I don’t agree with Oli’s take about having it being hangman face swerve first. I think that needs some breathing room right now because they just had so many matches together. They was just in a match 2 months ago. I think the Christian feud is good direction I wasn’t expecting.

No you are wrong, Christian is the perfect person to start Swerve’s reign. Adam Paige would be way too early to restart the feud, wait a few months to restart it

Personally, I think the inevitable rematch against Hangman is gonna be a hot angle no matter when it happens. Not only does Christian have history with Swerve, but he’s the biggest heel in the company against the fastest-rising face in the company, Swerve. Besides, Swerve is also a dirty player in his own right, so he’s gonna be able to give it back to Christian as good as he gets.

Kenny Omega is AEW. His match with Bryan on AEW is classic and will always be one of the biggest matches on dynamite. If ever you think AEW is not doing so great go back and watch this match, it's one of the best matches ever.

Why on earth would you waste hangman return on a guaranteed loss at the PPV? 🤦‍♂️ Christian is perfect. Can take another loss and come back easy. Gives just enough "could he" as he has so much help. Still know he will lose but it'll elevate the scene. Hangman you save for when you think "could they take it off Swerve" and their match actually has impact. As Hangman could easily be a transition champion for Wembley. So people will buy the near falls for sure.

The best part is the up playing of Diverticulitis. You wouldnt need a colostomy bag, nor is it fatal. in worst cases you can get a very serious infection, but its easily taken care off with medical care. it is a crappy condition though as it leads to very painful everyday life.

I do hope that soon Sky Blue can become a champion in AEW, the whole Chis Jericho/Big Bill stuff is pretty interesting for the most part. Cody not wanting to be a heel reminds me a lot of how WWE did not want Bianca Belair to be a heel because of the younger fan base. I to hope WWE does a better job with Eric Rowan this go around.

I disagree with your take that it should have been Hangman instead of Christian. It would be weird if the Bucks suddenly re-instates Hangman for the sole purpose of screwing with Swerve. Would be weird also if a mega babyface Omega reinstates a heelish hangman as well. Christian's motivations on going after Swerve is a very good touch and I love that an extremely hated Bucks sends out an extremely hated Christian to go after Swerve.

The build to Double or Nothing takes place in Canada and Christian Cage does really good character work - seeds were planted when Swerve talked about how is a bad father for being away from home, and also it’s his sins from the past catching up with him. As others have said Hangman should come later. And probably finish off with a loss to Ospreay at Wembley.

I think a two-night Wrestlemania in the UK might be a bit tricky because the public transport links on a Sunday evening wouldn't be great but perhaps they could arrange extra transport like they did with the Olympics, although I doubt they'd have the same level of government support to achieve it. Doing a Saturday-only PLE would be easier to manage.

I absolutely hate that it's seeming like the Elite are going to be the main heels on AEW for a while. I can't stand either the Bucks or Perry, so this just sucks a lot of enjoyment out of AEW for me.
