Always good to see the next generation get started. What pitfalls should a teacher avoid when instructing toddlers in wrestling?

lefu making it anything but fun. They are very fragile at the age. If you let a little kid get physically dominated, it is a traumatic experience for them. Slowly work up the physicality, it’s good to baby them when they are babies... a 5 year old who gets hurt will most likely hate wrestling for life.

Hi! How many hours of training per week can a 7 year old child who wants to perform in this sport do? I ask to know what is the limit over which it can reach exhaustion. Thank you!

There is no limit to the amount of fun a child can have. If you're asking how hard you can push a child, that depends on their personality and your parenting style.

@@WrestlingTournamentsDotCom But statistically, most successful performers did about how many hours of training on average at this age of 7?

Physiologically being almost the same for all children, I think there are some parameters that if you follow them, you have a better chance of succeeding than if you ignore them. Maybe I'm wrong, that's why I'm asking you and thank you.

@@serafimciobanu3021 I do not think starting young in wrestling leads to a sizeable advantage. There are champions who start at 5, and there are champions who start at 12. It's more important to get them to choose it for themself, and it is very different for every child.

Love that you don't show any moves. i feel the same way just teach kids how to move and build strength.

Our little guys are very athletic! Here is the order we use to build them: 1) Build a good athlete - lots of bear crawling, tumbling, running, etc. 2) Wrestling based games - gets them used to rough play. 3) Live wrestling (just for takedowns, or just to escape off of their back/go for the pin), very short goes with direct supervision. 4) At this point they are ready to learn basic strategies. 5) First live match, let them get a few matches under their belts. 6) They are now ready to learn simple wrestling moves.

@@WrestlingTournamentsDotCom I couldn't make a better list. I find doing sumo King of the mat is a great start to get the kids to engage. They all start cheering for each other. It's really fun to see the kids really get into it.
