Attitude Era USA Network Barry Diller needs to be discussed more in Monday Night Wars documentaries. He was actually far more valuable than Vince Russo, and even the McMahons, when it came to the Attitude Era ratings turnaround. Things like the pole dancing Highway to Hell music video never would've been approved by the McMahons without Diller. He previously let Saturday Night's Main Event air on Fox when he was head of Fox TV, so the McMahons also need to stop covering up how long they've been acquainted with the Mr. Burns inspiration.

They were running midget wrestling and the Godwinns well into the middle of 1997. They didn't have a clue. At some point, they just let DX do and say whatever they wanted and saw how the crowds responded.
