19 күн бұрынFX and Disney+ Latin America have began filming a docuseries that will revolve around Club Necaxa, La Liga Mexican soccer team, with Eva Longoria and the Wrexham FC co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney on board as executive producers and on-air stars.

This is interesting. It feels to me that Rob & Ryan have plenty to do here and should concentrate here instead of someplace else.

They are obviously workaholics/moneyaholics LOL I don't think their role will be as big as in Wrexham as they only invested in the club not bought it. It will be interesting to compare their reactions to the mexican club to ours here.

It's just a crossover ... Will help with brand deals on the long run and could also work with developing talent and recruitment .... Most of the big owners have some ties to other clubs around the world... Ryan and Rob are smart they know how to get advertising and that's what pays for club developments

Mutual advertising and yes they know what to do, or at least Ryan does. I know Rob is new to all of this stuff.

@@WrexhamAFCfanzone yeah I'm a united fan from birth with my 2nd club Wrexham we hate the Glazers and they only visit 1 a year like at the FA cup.... Would love to have owners over the years that showed up and gave a shit .... Uniteds roof has been leaking for years ... The owners wouldn't spend a penny on the club untill we got sir jim.

Hope it is as successful for the Mexican team as 'Welcome to Wrexham ' has been for Wrexham FC.

@@WrexhamAFCfanzone Been mentioned before that Welcome to Wrexham might not be renewed for another season. Maybe Welcome to Necaxa is just the back up plan.

I think we would have to be promoted for us to get a season 5 but that said I suppose it just depends on the viewing figures.

Part of me does sometimes think where we just a show? But then you hear what Rob and Ryan say and you think nah! But then they are good actors and the doubt creeps in again. Either way though we gained back to back promotion and that makes it worth it. Plus they are good guys so its a win win.

I understand the business side of things. And the both of them are great at what they do. I just hope their energy doesn’t get too watered down. Plus, Everything to do with Wrexham It’s quite magical really. As a fan, I wouldn’t be interested in following the Mexican version. Keep up the good work, my friends.

Was there any official announcement from the club that R&R have sold 5%? This gives me Alex Hamilton vibes of selling pieces of the club...

Yeah there was. The 5% was showing for some time then when it was announced they had purchased a small stake in Necaxa it was revealed they had sold Necaxa investors 5%

I've seen the pics people have had made up, yeah. A friend of mine is convinced the shirt will coincide with a deadpool/wolverine reveal but i am not sure.

@@WrexhamAFCfanzone@WrexhamAFCfanzone, you will be glad you don't. I don't mean to be negative because this is ultimately a good thing for both clubs, but she has said some pretty awful things about one segment of the state's voting population in the past, so it's hard for me to forget that.
