Wright Park, which is located at the eastern part of Baguio City, is one of the many scenic parks in the City of Pines. It's named after Governor-General Luke Edward Wright who had ordered architect William E. Parsons to construct a mansion, which came to be known as the Mansion House, at the park for the American Governor-Generals.
The park is well-known for its Pool of Pines, a long rectangular pool of water lined on both sides by the city's towering pine trees. This pool leads up to a stairway made of stones that leads to the Mansion House.
Another notable feature of Wright Park is the area known as the "horse circle", where dozens of ponies are stationed for visitors to ride or take pictures with. This has been a popular activity in the park for many years.
The park has a serene and quiet ambiance, with paths for leisurely walks, often surrounded by beautiful flowers and pine trees. It's a great place to relax and unwind, and it's been a favorite spot for both locals and tourists for many years.
