I really like Woody’s Lunchbox but I don’t eat there very often because of the seating. I agree, it’s stressful!

Same! Like I understand trying to make the area look cute. But honestly I’d give up some of the aesthetic just to even get some extra folding tables and chairs or something over there.

Yes!! We live in NJ, about 40 minutes from where the center was. But we’re out of town so didn’t feel it! Hoping we don’t get home to any damage. 🤞

I love the idea of a video showing how to best take advantage of the dining plan. What would be super helpful to see is how much value you CAN get out of the dining plan if you’re being strategic throughout the day VS how much money you save/lose on the dining plan if you just spend the day eating what you want

I’m cracking up about your anxiety about the whole table thing because SAME! I literally laughed out loud with the man flying out of his scooter putting the cane on the table. People at Disney are savages 😂

Disney definitely needs for seating areas in many of their quick service restaurants, especially Woody’s Lunchbox and Casey’s Corner in MK. 😊

lol, I had a financially irresponsible day. Disney prices actually aren’t bad compared to where I live. 😂 Granted today was an abnormally expensive day for me. I went with my friend for her oral surgery and rather than wait at the office I had much upscale French Bistro next door and spent $75 on shrimp cocktail and 2 glasses of wine (we ubered). And I just paid $45 to doordash a chicken paillard with mista salad. It was a very long week. 😂😂🤣

the only way to really make the qs meals pay is to order alcohol with every meal. That bumps up the total and you can come out even or slightly ahead. Character meals that take 1 credit are good value for your table service meals and adding a cocktail puts you up for the day-but that's a LOT of food and requires a lot of time.

My husband and I did the dining plan on our last trip. It took a lot of planning on my part, but I beat Disney by over $200. It would have been more but we had so many qs credits left that we pivoted and ate at a signature restaurant. Had we not done that, probably would have been closer to $400. I enjoy the planning so that was not a chore for me. However if you don’t like planning and you don’t drink alcohol, imho it would be very difficult to “get your moneys worth”. I tried very hard to balance value, but not feel obligated to eat things we didn’t want I was probably 90% successful, but I did feel obligated to have a Bloody Mary in a can at any qs breakfast, which is not usually the way I roll. I will say those cocktails in a can are pretty darn good lol😂

You have to game the dining plan to make it worth it. Character meals make it 100% worth it and partaking in the alcohol takes it even higher.

We have the dining plan for our upcoming trip in September. My daughter is a travel agent and she found that adding the dining plan for three of us wasn't that bad in cost. We are staying in two rooms at All Star Music. We don't do sit down meals because they take too long, so quick service is fine with us. I feel that in some cases, the dining plan is worth paying a little extra for. It is exceptionally good when you get it for free. We have had the dining plan for free before. Yes we get what we want, but we try try to choose from the most expensive choices available.

Thanks for the information. We purchased the quick service dining for our trip for this year. We are an older couple and we like a table service meal most days, so we are 'splitting ' the plan with our adult daughter and husband. That way we help them out but get to prepay well in advance. So looking forward to snacking round the world at epcot though 😊

I feel you on that table situation. The thing that sucks about doing stuff on your own at Disney I noticed is that people act savage af if you're alone (and sometimes I wonder if it's because I'm a girl too) especially in those bottleneck situations in queues. People can seem so forceful yet pretend you don't exist at the same time. It's weird.

Dining Plan never going to cost effective but sometimes it’s nice to know meal cost already accounted for. Like EVERYTHING at WDW you’re going to pay too much for everything so meal plan no different. A WDW vacation causes you throw any semblance of wise financial choices “wright” out the window

Ronto wrap is available at ronto roasters until about 3 pm then I tmoces inside to Docking Bay 7

I got the free quick service ddp and paid for the upgrade to the regular ddp. So for that price, the ddp makes sense for us, plus to have the convenience of having our meals paid for before we go.

Love your videos! You have interesting twists with your topics. A lot of dining plan videos are “beat the plan” but when we come we don’t eat like that. I would like to see “average” meals and compare with value of the plan. I know eating at ohana with a $25 drink will beat the plan but what about more realistic meals?

If you're going the realistic route you would lose a lot of money on the dining plan. That's why I feel like its really not worth it. I would feel like I'd have to go to the most expensive places and order a steak with the most expensive drink even though that may not be what I actually want.

The beef is new as of January and without the sauce takes like onion powder way too much onion powder Stringy and dry I used to love it but it was terrible on Wednesday yuk Why is the food always less than mid in HS? Yuk gonna give mamas a try

As for Disney and plant based burgers.. the worst one I ever had was in 2019 at Sassagoula Floatworks at French Quarter. They had a promising Beignet veggie burger. It was absolutely horrible. Not because of the beignet...it was just nasty the patty itself. I had to throw it out. I've been leary of plant based burgers in Disney ever since.

Being a travel agent and going to Disney myself as a annual pass holder, dvc member the dining plan is not worth it before I became a dvc member and ap holder we did the dining plan it was so stressful trying to think okay how much is this meal and if we don’t get an alcoholic beverage etc idk I rather pay as I go or I tell my clients do like a gift card for food and each month get $100 one until you go away

Yup! We just buy discounted gift cards a little at a time until the trip, and then eat whatever, whenever 🤣 even when we had “free dining” one trip it was too stressful to keep track of the credits and whatnot.

I like the gift card idea! I know if I got the dining plan I would be the same way, kinda forcing myself to eat things I don't want.
