I was at the show before this in Worcester, MA....David Johansen was the only opener. He played his medley of Animals' hits that was out at the time and left the stage. It was barely 10 minutes, and I'm surprised the arena made it that long. People wanted The Who and were ready to revolt. I was in the balcony & it just moved up and down and up and down so much, I thought it might crack and fall. AMAZING NIGHT!!!!

I was there also. Great show! Don't remember David Johansenn but I sure remember the Clash! They kicked ass! Loved it. The Who were in Top form. I seen them at Madison Square Garden innthe late 70's and Pete was a drunken mess! Lol...sliced his hand open, left the stage, came back all bandaged up and started doing windmills again....he landed up biting off the bandage midway through a song! Blood flying everywhere.....Now that's R&R! This show was more together and top notch. Pete's playing was the best I've seen him..... 😎👍

The Clash opened up as well as David Johanssen. Clash probably were at the peak of their commercial success here with both Casbah & Should I Stay...or go both being hit songs. I was too young to see this show but my Uncle was there and liked all 3 acts and said it was a very mixed crowd. Old school Who fans, trendy newbies into whatever was popular, punkers and then the New wave-new school Clash fans. That’s what happens when you pack a bill like this and perform at a massive stadium.

@@volpeverde6441 Dozens of directors and editors have, over the years, elected to go with the standard Daltrey-Moon-Townshend camera framing, to the exclusion of Entwistle. You can hear him, sure, but they make it seem like the sounds is coming from Pete, and that shortchanges The Ox's contribution.
