honestly, they should have made his passive gap wider. like it starts under 80% HP and goes until 40%

I absolutely love how he’s providing some spotlight for more niche characters like Mika, Thoma and Yunjin. Because of how niche they are, they have all been at the bottom of my character list despite how much I love Mika’s nerdy and Thoma’s laidback personalities and Yunjin’s wonderful backstory all the way back in patch 2.4 (still to this day is one of the best archon quests imo!) But now that I have Wrio the slay who can utilise all their buffs and niches, there is no doubt I’m going to obsessively build them all because I’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to build the 4 star characters I love so dearly!

Wrio is such a cool character in terms of design and combat, love his personality and him just being Genshin's Vi from LoL.

I feel like the c1 charge attack after a combo should’ve been his passive and he’s passive should’ve been the c1 gaining a charge attack every 5seconds

I absolutely adore Heizou and his playstyle, so getting Wrio - a tall husbando, goth-like, cryo DPS is like a dream character 😭 please send luck my way as I am 50/50!

Finally some Mika justice, the ATK speed buff is godly on Wriothesley + cryo res + healing + battery. I've been running Mika on many teams and his ATK speed buff is highly overlooked :(

I don't care about numbers, I really like his playstyle. My fav characters are mostly catalyst users, and it is a nice change to just throw punches like Heizou. Hope I can get him early. Wish you luck everyone !

Its kinda funny how Mika works well with Rizzly lol considering he's supposed to be a physical buffer.

I think he should have some sort of marks on his hp bar to indicate the percentage for his passive, since its such an important part of his kit to have between 60 and 50% and it can be a bit tricky to differentiate just by looking while fighting enemies.

One thing of note - if you see that you're at 50% HP or below, his 2nd passive works even without the skill being active. Charge attack to get a bunch of health back. Then use E.

The primary reason I watch your videos is because of your optimism; why? Because it stands out more when you have a serious criticism. I got super lucky and won both my 50/50s. Even got the second early. Had to hit epitomised path for his weapon but they came early too. C1R1 in 196 wishes. Still got 210 left for Furina

I'm seeing a few comments saying he's Dehya bad or his damage is low...his damage is honestly pretty damn good to be real I just think Neuv and other units have inflated numbers so much that we forget this is actually pretty good damage. 2. Almost nothing will be as bad as Dehya who has a kit that borderline contradicts itself lmao!

Im running him in a melt comp with widsith and even the em is pretty welcome because he has a standard icd so when he does melt it definitely hits really hard ( still cant believe i managed to hit a 70k na open world with just bennett and kazuha)

I currently have him with Shenhe and Barbara and have been switching around the fourth member trying to find a good fit. This has given me quite a few options to consider.

So I’m unsure how true this is but I hear that bosses while they don’t receive the cc from frozen still get the frozen status applied to them which then allows blizzard strayer to proc! Not that it changes anything for Wriothsley specifically but I felt it was important to keep that in mind for other Cryo carries

After playing the game since 1.1 I finally have the character that I want to max and build my account around.

His charged attack look like classic Ryu's/Ken's skill moves from Street fighter vintage game. Also like Cody's fourth punch from NES classic Mighty Final Fight. Lastly his normal attacks also look like Dennis' from Little Fighter V2.0. Anyone played those games?😅

Bro I just started playing about 2 and a half months ago. Specifically because of him. I saved up over 400 pulls. And surprise surprise, I got 2 of Venti’s weapon at 69 pity each, Rizzley’s weapon at 66. And then I got him at 81 pity, before losing my 50/50 to Diluc at 76 pity. Sometime I just hate this game so much. I’m sad. He is really fun to play, though.

I agree. His melt teams are pretty scuff. I get 100k melts on one rotation then 30k on the next. The most consistent I find is burn melt and honestly triple pyro. Kazuha doesn't do shit in melt comps. But I want to play melt with him, so if you have found a great one pls share with combo rotation. Ps. I don't have Shenhe.

Got extremely lucky with him, had only around 80 - 90 pulls saved and was freshly after geting Cyno, so nowhere near pity (had a huge break from game, so didn't save up any gems). Lost 50/50 which happened after around 50 pulls (Mona C1) and then in the next ~40 I got him, just before running out of primos :D Cons - it's gonna be a long time before I can use him, since I got a ton of story to catch up, farm new artifacts and upgrade materials. R.I.P. Also I don't have any decent catalysts. Best one I have is the Solar Pearl I think

Omg seeing neuvillites weapon on him and seeing the glowing thing turn black was just awesome

I SOOOOO wanna pull him. But his kit feels like a easy cash grab by Hoyo making a 10% threshold where you can utilise his full kit UNLESS you spend the money for another 80 pulls to get his C1. The Elemental Skill icon is easy to miss and would have been nicer if there was a unique signifier in the attacks themself, example, Yoimiya's arrows actually ignite on fire, there they could've added a red splash effect or glowing blue aura!

Feels like the Raiden C2 misnomer With Rizzly C1 makes him easier to play and less reliant on healers but honestly having to work around his HP feels better Like would you rather explore other options or pay for a C1 and force him onto "standard" teams

Dudes just cryo yoimiya tbh- he aint bad but he is gon be a bit cumbersome cus his main damage is his normals and he uses melee so he tends to get knocked around allot… if you like him then go ahead because he is still pretty good, not really anything crazy though

I'm just gonna do a few pulls because I'm saving for Furina, but if I do get him with that few pulls I'm gonna put him on a monocryo or freeze team

My man can do 100k melts...and people say " he is mid " 💀 when clearly he has no cooldown whatsoever because he can keep doing DMg due to him using normal and charged attacks. I like his C1 I am ftp so I won’t get it this round but it gives me a reason to look forward to his rerun.

I pushed hard to get C-3 Wriothesley. I have never regretted it. Oftentimes all the support I need is Furina healing, and he literally pummels everything with sheer force, Rocky style. It's unreal how fun he is to play. Then, all I need for the other 2 is maybe 2 Pyros or Geos. With either enhanced atk or massive shielding + healing, he becomes unstoppable.

I'll pull on his rerun, but for now I'm keeping my focus on using my guaranteed for my beloved bratty archon. Wrio will most likely be back around 4.5-4.7 anyways, as new characters tend to rerun first. Edit: So um, I got a little too drunk and played Genshin. I got him, but lost to Tighnari afterwards. I'm guaranteed Furina again at least. 💀

i've been able to get every single new character since v3.0, but I'm passing on Wriothesley. mostly because I need to make sure I have enough to get Furina in the upcoming patch and I have Ayaka, who I'm super happy with already, so I have no need for him. I'm also super unimpressed with his kit and how you have to start unlocking constellations to improve it. for me his only redeeming trait is his playstyle. i love punching stuff w/ heizou and dehya but he's not worth missing the hydro archon for

I thought the frostbearer does 300% of what the attack does! If you line that up with a big hit or get his constilation that already drops an extra iceberg on his charge attack… it should be fun XD One punch avalanche

Wrio has an amazing design, but his kit is... too simple and really not that interesting to me, especially because I already have Ayaka which is very close to a cryo catalyst thanks to her sprint infusion and also has better AoE.

lol I haven't played Genshin since Lost Ark and then Diablo 4 came out., I might have to go back to this solely for this dude. I love the fighter/fist/gauntlet class type of character in RPG's due to my love for beat em up games like Streets of Rage, Double Dragon and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as well as fighting games like Street Fighter and Tekken so I might check this character out. And he has a freaking Shoryuken!

Omg my ritual worked I let my friends Neuvillete sit on Wriothesley seat, then I only have the Traveler in front of his desk. -Ate 3 of his food, the barbecue thing -Then used a welfare meal -Then equipped the namecard with the Cerberus emblem I got him on my 50/50 and his weapon. Tho my pity on the character was close to 80 then I got his weapon at 50 ish

weird you didnt mention yelan+xingqiu, xingqiu gives him damage resistance and tje little healing that he needs, yelan increases his damage and the 4th slot can be a flex, i like using layla to get the cryo resonance and just smash the keyboard while forgeting about evading

6:15 so he does 68k dps... in a hypercarry team ... no off field dmg from anyone else in the team... that is ... actually really weak .... if u look at other hypercarry teams, he is really below average. and especially its a lower dps than the shenhe variant wich had 83k dps (still pretty low)

I think his DMG will be equal or a bit less than Ayaka, so maybe we can put him in the Freeze Ayaka team for testing? They are both melee Cryo DPS, deal Cryo DMG with all the talents (A,E,Q).

Came back to genshin just to throw a few summons in and finally try and build keqing (my literal ONLY dps character) after a year and a half. Got qiqi to e1 on this guy’s banner. But I fixed my keqing. Little did I know while clearing the mist off that one inazuma island, I’d call the feathers the dragon balls and ask shenron to give me wrio. Now I have Wrio.
