A tip for so you don't end up editing. Take a few notes on where you want to go next time you write when you finish your writing sessions so when you return you do not need to reread it. I am the same way if I reread it I end up editing it on default.

Thank you! I do the little notes for my upcoming sessions but for some reason feel unable to write if I don’t reread at least a few paragraphs so I know where I’m starting lol

this always inspires me to go write lol. I am currently at about 65k of my project as well, meaning I just hit the midpoint and diving into the second half... so much for a "50k novella length"
