It’s crazy to me that when a conviction is overturned on appeal, the defendant isn’t automatically released from prison. They still have to jump through crazy hoops, against the machinations of the state employees, that try to prevent the ppl they KNOW are innocent, from being released. They should all be ashamed of themselves.
