This is pretty much the same as when you pop the hood on your car with regards to the connectors/fans being "open to the elements". If water falls on the unit from above, it will flow around and off. If water is sprayed from below, it won't contact anything that can't tolerate a bit of spray. It should not be submerged, just like a car. In other words, it's IP55. I think the build quality is very good.

But corrosion is an issue in snowy countries due to road salt. Cars are built to handle it, but i don't think EUCs are.

Car or motorcycle... even off road stuff. And, at least with motorcycles, some of the exposed wires are quite low on the frame, such as brake pedal sensors on some models. What is not shown is if any kind of paste that is often used to help water proof connections. Generally this kind of thing is good for for one or two reconnections but really should be cleaned off and reapplied each time for maximum effect. The main thing is that the electronics bricks are sealed properly. It is too bad the batteries can not be repaired cell by cell but no repair shop or warranty repair would do anything but replace the whole pack anyway as trouble shooting to the cell costs more for hours worked than replacement. It does look good, yes.

If EUC's ever become mainstream, the ones we have today will be quaint relics, and the new ones will be solid state and much more user friendly, with loads of accessories

I, in fact, crashed the v13 in a puddle and it been powered down ever since. It’s been a few week and i can’t figure out the which part to replace. I contacted my seller and they’ve been working with inmotion to figure it out. 😅😅 SO IF YOU WONDER, it waterproof as long it stay up.

i think the waterproofing is actually fantastic, all i had to do myself was add some dabs of silicone to the tops of the bms and the main and rear connectors. I think its a fantastic design actually, have everything open but silicone all of the electronics that are exposed so they literally just cant get wet even tho they dont have a cover. Basically the entire wheel is like that

I'd say that is acceptable, looking at the standards we have in the EUCs - it's for sure better than Begode😅 But there's still room for improvement, especially since it's a lot of money.

at 8:03 the pedal adjustment is a plate that screws on the bottom of the pedal that adds more angle. It came with my V13 and I have installed it recently cause I felt I needed more angle.

After owning a V11 and seeing the V13 suffer the same issues. I am pretty confident this is the end of AirShock / Slider designed wheels. The future outlook looks good.

The issue is that it's using 18650 cells, so the next best option is the Samsung 30Q (it uses 35E according to E-wheels) but then you go from 3500MAh to 3000Mah in order to go from 8A to 15A discharge. Molicell seems to make a 3000mAh 30A battery called the P30B and a 3500mAh 10A called the M35A also.

The screen has a major flaw. It allows water to run down the side and I’m the housing just holds the water there. Power button and easily short.

This seems to be the only option if one likes high speed I guess. Pattons price tag calls my name but I feel like the bigger wheel in sherman s or v13 would be better, although sherman s isn’t as fast from what I ve seen
