I just rerouted the oem wiring for the speaker so that you can put the wire behind the speaker. Used different way to mount speakers as well. Theres a guy that sells mounts specifically for subarus.

@@akqjtn hey any idea how to clean the black plastic on the front of the car. The textured plastic at the front and around the small lights. It's hard to get the white polish or wax out of it.
@logan53264 жыл бұрын
Are you referring to the front grill and around the fog lights?If so, NEVER wax those areas with paste wax, at most use a quick detailer (liquid spray) because it's easier to clean it off.

I also noticed my adapters pointed in a weird way but I didn’t want to drill into my door. I noticed that the Alpine speakers are rated for 100W RMS and I believe you have the Alpine KTP-445U amp which puts out 45W RMS per channel. Do you intend on upgrading the amp as well as the speaker wire in order to provide more power to the speakers?
@jonizzzle5 жыл бұрын
Boost & Shutter ah gotcha. Thanks to your other videos I purchased the Alpine KTP-445U a few weeks ago. I have a 2016 WRX so all your information was applicable. I loved how compact it is and it fit perfectly under the passenger seat with lots of room to spare. Instead of a separate amp to power a sub I opted to get the Rockford Fosgate P300-10 just to make it simpler.

Hey bro are you sure the link you have for the speaker connectors are correct. When I click on the link it takes you to cables that are for a Toyota. Do these fix a 2019 STI? My speakers are stock and should be the same as the WRX.

Is it that bad? I've had a 2016 Impreza for 3 years and I'm upgrading to a 2019 WRX this month. Only thing I didn't get to test was the audio in the wrx. The 2016 definitely isn't the best but it's honestly not so bad either. I've heard WAY worse in newer vehicles than the 2016 Impreza.
