How do you retract the boom? I can only get lowest portion retracted and the rest stay locked. Why isn’t there any instructions on this?

I did! It turned out I actually didn’t have it fully extended, I had it extended about 4 feet and thought that must be “fully extended” but it goes nearly double that! It goes WAY higher than you think.
