In NC, you can leave a child alone at home at age 8. She was better off leaving the kid home, and telling her not to go out or let anyone in.

The child was eight (8) yrs. old. Why? Didn't they just get out of the car and report their MOM. Eight. Please, do NOT tell me an Eight yr. old, couldn't open the doors. Kids also can be disabled or have special needs. You can try to teach them but you never know what they can do if something happens to you and you can’t help them.

This was my first question. It doesn’t make sense that she couldn’t open the car door, unless there are special circumstances they aren’t sharing. * I just read all the news reports and none of them have any additional info. Maybe her mom threatened her to stay in there. Idk. Really sad, still. And I’m not trying to blame the victim, it’s a genuine, honest question.

You can't get out of a Honda Odyssey. I witnessed a 10 year old get left behind. Of course the mother try to pin it on me. Most people would've called cps on her. Cold figure being a mother & using fentanyl don't go together.

A lady on tik tok said that this mom did the same thing at a daycare 8 years ago when the child was around 7 months. She tried smashing the window, but the mom came outside and stopped her, told her not to tell her husband what happened. The lady said she regrets not calling the cops, cause here we are 8 years later and the child is dead.

That's what I was thinking. Why don't these big places open up a child area that's supervised. A lot of these workers can't afford child care, let alone a bunch of other expenses, especially if they are a single parent.

America's laws killed this child. Cannot leave an unaccompanied minor inside our corporate-owned building with an air conditioned Lobby that you could land a plane in. But it can die out in a private vehicle banking in the hot asphalt parking lot. In a foreign country little kids probably can hang out oh my God here comes that word unaccompanied by parents but around all kind of other people like the receptionist in that front lobby area. Probably even the same Corporation it's allowed outside USA but with America and all their lawyers, and clauses and rules you have a dead child that's not allowed to be over here comes the word unaccompanied inside the corporate building. Amazon you better get rewriting your rules and fire that retained attorney who allowed such a disaster to occur.
